This is my 400th post! I have to say I am pretty proud of keeping a daily Blog even if I didn't have anything important going on! I had Charli for about an hour and a half and she worked on Tye's hair, played ball with my brother and checked out my new Butterfly Bushes. I got a white and purple to go with my yellow one and a Sedum, they are all going on the side with my bird feeding station.

I also got up early and got these as the morning sun was coming up. The best thing is I worked on Charli's stocking and am getting a lot done! It has been a very great relaxing day, I saw the Kids, my Mom, took pictures, cross stitched and got my Sunday School lesson ready, a Great day!

Out Junkin'

One of my great pleasures in this world is to go to the Faith Home and Salvation Army and see what I can find. Today I wanted to share this sweet little utensil set I found. I put it beside my Pepsi so you could see how small it it! I also found this egg holder which I will take apart and use and although I didn't find this feed scoop today I wanted to share it, Les and I both thought it will be a good head for a sculpture.
Also I had a small class today so we had a little painting fun. OFF FOR 3 DAYS! What a great feeling!

I am starting my list of things to make for Christmas. I am going to do a craft show or two and then have to do many gifts. This is one of the ornaments I made last year. I know I want to make some note cards and bookmarks and I am going to take a jewelry class. This is something I will show my organization skills on, LOL, some things I will make and if I don't sell they will be gifts. I do enjoy making crafts!
Les is having trouble with double vision so he went by to see the nurse and his BP was up some, the Dr is going to keep an eye on it.

I HAVE STARTED BACK ON MY CROSS STITCH PROJECT FROM LAST YEAR, LOL! MAYBE I CAN GET CLOSER TO FINISHING CHARLI'S STOCKING, I AM OVER HALF FINISHED NOW.

Charli was feeling poorly when I first got there yesterday, I guess her teeth are coming in. By the time I left she was dancing and trying to wiggle the sillies out so I guess the Motrin helped!

I call this post Attack of the tomatoes! We got a few tomato plants and when Les ran out of space he put 3 or 4 beside the steps. They looked sickly and I think 1 or 2 of them died but this monster has spilled out and I told Les I feel like it is going to grab my legs each time I come in the house! The others beside the garage are not staked up and growing out and about, don't ask me why because I don't eat tomatoes and that's Les' thing and there are green tomatoes all over! The ones beside the fence are doing well, too. The grape tomatoes have been beautiful and he added them to the coleslaw he made the last 3 times and it adds a nice touch.
I told him this won't happen next year! We don't need this many tomatoes! I do plan on canning some and making some tomato sauce though.
It was after 9:30 when I got home from WOM last night. Had a blast! Ate shrimp that Chip put on the grill and decided a project for our local children's home.

The need for speed! Today I practiced my speed in photoing hummers. This is a real weakness for me! They didn't mind me outside either, I just had to watch as they whizzed past my head!
I am stuck on the bird at the top, at first glance I thought another finch was at my feeder then I saw the top tuft so thought it looked like a cardinal now I am not sure what kind he is, he had beautiful golden browns and red and that top 'hairdo' he stayed a long time watching the hummers fight and posing for me.
As soon as I came in the rain started. It has not slowed the hummers down either, I put out anther feeder but they are bumping into each other and having a good time!
We have a picnic and singing tonight at church at 6:00 so I will be leaving for that.
