I was so excited that Gina and Trey came home early and we got to take Charli to VBS and then uptown last night! We wanted to hear the Jazz music but they were putting up the stage before 9:00 so we took her around that side of the street to the topiaries we did not see before and the little petting zoo area, she Loved that! Gina was surprised that she stayed in her stroller, LOL, but she does a lot for us she doesn't do for Mommy and Daddy! She was playing with her new shoes making them light up in the middle picture. Well, getting ready for our big day! I want to be at Park Seed early and do the garden tours before it gets hot, there are a couple of yard sales, too, I need a car seat for Charli so I do not have to keep switching out with Gina, I just woke Les up but I have been up since 5:00. I have my batteries charged and my card reformatted so ready to go!

Crazy Hat or hair night was fun, these people really got into this one, LOL! This is Les, he put a foam parrot on front and the nose and glassed on back, he and Sheila tied for first place. Tonight is PJ night. I am hoping to get to leave a little early because there is a jazz concert up town tonight

Gina called as we were leaving VBS, she spent the day in Hospital (she is on vacation) she is losing the baby, please keep her in your prayers. She is OK and accepting. She said she saw ultrasound and knows it is best.
Oh, yeah, wanted to remember that Farrah and Michael Jackson died today, someone at church said it best, 'a part of our youth.'

More VBS and a picture of Seth

Well Les got a Birthday cake and set of 'tools' from the Bible School, he seems pretty happy. His Dr visit was not a high light of the day, though, I had asked Jeremy about getting picture of Seth and Juli sent me 4, I posted one at bottom. I plan on scrapping this one beside one of Charli since she has the same toy.
Now tonight then Friday and VBS will be over, it has went fast this year, the crafts have went very smoothly!

Today is Les' Birthday, that's him on the right, it was tacky night and he was one of the adult winners, he won a Tack, LOL! Any excuse to wear holey jeans! You can tell they really had fun, I took this quick shot of him doing the puppet, it was crowded so I didn't get the best shot,


Now my zinnias are really showing out! I have some huge ones I will post later, they are over 3 foot tall, next year I need to leave out the small ones or put them somewhere else, they are towered over and not getting sun. I will be more organized in my planting, too.
Charli is having a great time and being a good girl, she loved the Coke Museum in Atlanta, she loves carbonated drinks and enjoyed them all. She also had a Ball at the hotel, Gina said.
Dumb me missed my eye appointment and had to reschedule, I have to look at my planner every week and I had in my mind Tuesday instead of Monday! Have to wait until July 9 now.

We had a Blast the first night of VBS! Sheila and I did the craft and taught them wax resist by having them color Noah's Ark then use a blue wash. They really enjoyed that. Tonight is making witness bracelets. Les is doing a puppet show to tell the story, he had the monkey tell the story from the animals point of view. He said it was a hit, too. I need to get to step out and get pictures of the other classes if I can.
The girls had so much fun singing Summer Nights from Grease we thought that might be fun with the older girls to have a movie night, I haven't seen Grease in Many years!

One Blurry Photograph was all it took me to see there was a slight resemblance between Charli and Jeremy! I have to admit I never thought it before but I was taking pictures of Charli doing monkey sounds and snapped a bad one, usually I would delete it right away but it reminded me so much of Jeremy and Les thought so, too. I know Gina won't but anyway here are the pictures of Jeremy and the blurry photo of Charli.

OK, now for the more personal stuff. Les is working, Trey and Gina bought us lunch, they are leaving this afternoon for Atlanta to go to the Aquarium, then to Folly Beach.
Les had to bake a cake for tonight, it is a tradition to have a Men's Bake off Father's Day night. I think it turned out well, I did buy a fudge cake and Chocolate frosting and Lemon with Vanilla but he reversed it!

Well I did my first CT Enabling today for Garden Girl, Thank goodness for Cut and Paste! Will come back later with personal stuff, LOL! Have breakfast at church.
