Here is Charli helping us make our red velvet cake, Gina used green food coloring in one and I had help with my red layer from Charli, I used a recipe from Cooks.com and it was awful, Gina said she thinks it is because we used all purpose flour, I don't know but it was a waste! Pretty though!
Les got me a camcorder yesterday and I am very excited to try it out on Charli!

Even Digital Scrappers have Black Friday sales, LOL! Crash, Boom Pow is a collab between Connie Prince and Armina at Gotta Pixel, (image is linked) It was a perfect kit to start on some pages for Charli's Halloween, you can tell she loved Halloween!I also did a couple of Christmas pages using Hey Santa which Connie has at Elemental Scraps. I tried uploading to Elemental and Scrapable but both flipped out when I tried to get on!
For some reason my heart has not been in Scrapping but I have done a few pages to add to a Bragbook for Charli. I have gotten behind this year with that!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! We are going to Gina's in a little while and she and I will bake a red velvet cake together. I am excited my MIL is coming and so my Mom and my MIL will both be there! I really promise I will take more pictures this year. I am slack on Thanksgiving pictures!
Trey will fry a turkey and I can't wait to have some!
I have been busy with making my Christmas gifts, I love the set I made for my DiL! the yarn is called something like I Love this Yarn from Hobby Lobby. I Have a small ball left over to make a flower pin to put on her jacket. The red and black skinny scarf is made for a best friend and the bracelet is for someone special, I love the way it turned out! Will post more later.

Santa is bringing Charli a Big Girl bed and she is so excited, she loves playing on her bed now that the side is off the crib, her linens are in the wash but she had to show me how she can do it, LOL! this was last week. She is now 22 months!
She is getting a Daybed, I can't wait to see what Gina picks out and the spread or quilt, Maybe she can finally get some window coverings since Charli be able to look out when she stands up. (Odd size windows that need to be made)

Scripture Challenge at SBE

Can be found here
http://sbelements.com/showthread.php?t=2605

We're still continuing our theme based on ABUNDANCE so our scripture verse for Week 35 comes from 1Timothy 1:14 which says:
“The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.”

** Be sure to read the General Guidelines to the challenge HERE, where you can find out what will happen each week. It will tell you how you can take part, what you will be receiving, where to post your submissions to, etc.

Here is a preview of your FREE Word Art for this week (the link to download the Word Art to use as part of your submission appears at the BOTTOM of this message, and will only be available until the close of this challenge):

* The deadline for submitting your creation for THIS challenge is midnight EST on Saturday November 28th 2009.*

I hope you like my new Christmas Header! The kit is Deck the Halls by Cathy K Designs!

Last night we took Charli to the Christmas Festival at work where she saw Santa and rode the train, It was fun showing her off to the parents of the kids I have taught!
She was fascinated with the trees so I was happy to bring her home and decorate my tree! In 2 weeks I have been married to Les 29 years and I don't remember him ever helping me with the tree but you can see he and Charli are having a good time! It was hard for him, too, because the unit in his back has fluid around it and he keeps getting catches in his back.
I used to be so particular about my tree, I have gorgeous pink, green and teal decorations but they are staying boxed up this year and I have red lights and bows and snowmen and Santas and the little groups of ornaments at the bottom will stay just like they are... unless Charli decides they will look better somewhere else!
