Very cool necklace!

Charli had a wonderful time at the Cateechee Festival yesterday! She said she wants dresses like they had! She wore her beads Sherry gave her to church today. I took a video of her and Les getting up and dancing the Friendship dance. She liked the Hoop Dance best, she said she wanted to learn to dance like that!

I was just doing my Blog hopping, seeing who has posted something good and found a great tutorial here for a jewelry holder. I was thinking my Mom could sure use that!
I can'r remember if I said Ames was starting to take a few steps here and there but he is doing really well. He is especially good at getting up from sitting. We are going to get Charli and take her to see the Indians dance in 96 in just a little while.

School has been a great success this week! Charli has Miss Laura and Ames has Miss Doris. Both has a very good time, Mama and I picked them up yesterday and Charli was excited about that. She has really grown to love Mama Peggy so much because she plays with her and spoils her good!I don't know how I could do with out her and Jeff! Charli is crazy about Jeff, too, when he is gone she misses him and will sometimes go sit in his chair, he makes her laugh so much.
I think finally the medicine has started working, I have been able to cut back to using my pulse air tank some this week. Having trouble with my new tank so I guess I am going to have to send it back.

Went with Gina to take Ames to doctor and he only weighed 21.12! Charli weighs 30 lbs! He sure seems heavier than her! He is taking a few steps at a time and standing a lot.

I am not uploading picture right now but when with the kids to meet their new teachers. Gina is putting them in play school on Tues and Thursday mornings from 9 to 12. Charli cried when she had to leave and Ames fought over a toy, LOL! I will ad pix later. Need to go to bed because they will be here early in the morning!

Today Charli wrote on the TV, it must be a family thing because Jeremy did the same thing to his Mema's when he was 3! What made it worse was her Papa took care of that one then she went in my room and tried to put a sticker on mine. She cried like a Drama Queen when I turned off the TV and told her she was restricted from watching it the rest of the day. I did tell he I loved her and forgave her so I don't need to mention it again

It was so good to hear Jeremy's voice today! We talked for 20 minutes before getting cut off. He is living in a tent with about 20 guys and they only have a microwave so need foods they can microwave. He also is drawing and needs watercolor and black paper and spray fixative. I am sending Amazon $$$ for birthday but guess I will get goody box, too.

Met Jamie at O'Charley's with Mama, Jeff, Cassie and Dylan and Gina's family. It was nice, kept telling Charli we were going to her place.

It reached 101 yesterday, so hot it is too much for me to get out, I did go to church though. Les has been off letting his back heal but goes back today. He may end up going back to pain management. I got Charli's skirt done this week and Les sewed a cover for his E-book. Doug is taking antibiotics for an infection but should be ok, he was happy to see Charli.

I had a nice time meeting Elaine, Douglas and Abigail at IHop tonight. They were so glad to see Charli and she was a good girl and ate well.
I am not past 250 SwagBucks! I need to get a lot more if I want to send Jeremy an Amazon gift certificate! I am pretty good at thinking about the daily poll and like doing them. I finally found they send things to my inbox I can do to earn more.
I am very sleepy and ready for bed. Les went to dentist today and Gina went to Dr Vaughn and both did OK.
It is now 6 months since I started CellCept so I hope it will start working soon!
Oh I got Charli a skirt made today and got $25 for selling earrings.
I am about to fall asleep so good night!

I have been thinking since Mickey's funeral and how nice it is that Debbie has that beautiful urn to keep and something for all the kids. I am thinking that it's a pretty good idea and found these beautiful artistic urns
I like that the ashes can be put in ART GLASS!
I think my favorite are the photo type. I just think it's a good idea because I want to check out donating my organs to be studied for my disease.

I got a new Oxygen machine today! It is lighter and gives my constant or pulse air. Much better!!!

Today is my Dear Grandmother's 93rd birthday! We were blessed to see her and get a 5 Generation picture, It was hard to get one with both kids cooperating so this is the best.

I am glad I decided to catch up on some of my favorite Blogs because I found I great pattern for an apron made out of jeans at "A girl and a glue gun's"!
I have been trying to think of what to do for craft shows this fall and I think I will do some Recycle crafts and use jeans. As much as I hate to sew this is probably a pretty good thing to do! Since I can't get into my size 6's (But I am now below 140 lbs) that is a good starting place ;^D
I was happy that Janette came to see me today! She brought me some vegetables. This week we have gotten tomatoes from Debbie, David and 'Nette. Les is going to put some up in the freezer.

This is the bird house Gina gave me last year, a small bird has built a nest there.

Trey's Dad Mickey passed away tonight. He had cancer of the bladder that was very aggressive. How sad for Trey who was so close to him! Ames will never remember the man he was named after. I pray Debbie will be OK alone!

I have the worse energy levels right now! I am so thankful for my Mom and for Les and Jeff who help me get through the day! It is so hot I can barely stand going outside but am trying to get my Christmas stuff mostly done because I am so concerned about not wanting to do it in up coming months! I really need to get up right now and go get some cold water because Les has went to bed with his back hurting and I need something to drink and to go to bathroom ;)
I am glad I have to take care of the kids or I might not do anything I am so tired!

Took Charli to Festival of Discovery and was having a nice time eating ribs and listening to music when a storm came up! Had to wait until it let up a little under a vender's tent before we could make it to car. Parking was CRAZY! They had our regular spot blocked and were parking as far away as Dollar General and library! No handicap spaces open! Thank goodness after Les let us out he found a close one!

I joined Swagbucks today, I earned about 60 points so far, a friend told me you can earn gift cards and gifts using it to search the web. I just hope I remember to use it instead of Google, LOL! There is a daily survey I need to check every day, too for points. I printed a couple of coupons and when I use them I will get more points. I also added my Blog so a couple times a month I will tell you what I got, if there are any super deals or anything.

Just a quick note to say we had a good time in Ninety Six watching the fireworks! We picked up Gina and the babies and went to Barbara Etters and sat with Tim and Leighanne, We got Gina home just before 11. She is very tired and Charli was a little ill. Trey stayed with his Dad, he had a better day today Gina said, we are waiting for a call just anytime. Gina picked Debbie up a top for the funeral, Mickey told Debbie he was dying, he is in so much pain. It is so hard on Trey!

Charli came in the door saying 'We're doing crafts today!" YEP, she's My grand daughter! She found her some envelopes got stickers, stamps, inks and paper punches and created.

Friday night Charli spent the night with us and Saturday we spent the day going to Park Seed, the Train Museum and Nelson's Garden. We also did her favorite thing going to see the topiaries up town. She loved the elephant and Gamecock!

First night of VBS, Charli had a blast! She was in the 4 year old class and laughed so hard at Miss Barbara! I have 4 more days of therapy so I am trying to find a small exercise bike that doesn't take up too much room.

Jeremy just called for Afghanistan! It was 11:24 here and 7:54 AM there! He said it took 30 hours to get there and it was hot and nothing but sand where he was. No trees or anything. His troop is more in the north part of the country. I was so glad he got to tell his Dad Happy Father's Day! I am looking forward to my family coming over tomorrow!

STAYED AT HOME TODAY, TREY HAD TO WORK OVER SO STAYED AT HOME INSTEAD OF GOING TO THERAPY. FELT GOOD THOUGH. TRYING TO GET READY FOR VBS. SIGNED UP FOR EXTREME COUPONING CLASS JULY 7, FUN!

Feeling pretty good tonight, had trouble at exercise and stopped at 5 min on treadmill because heart rate was very high. Had some rough storms move through just before we got out of church. Glad Les is off tomorrow while I have kids.

Went to Charleston today, Dr Wheton doesn't think I am good candidate for transplant and lung tests are not good. Will talk to Dr Holman later.

With all the couponing I have been doing I have more groceries than ever and we have not been eating out so much! Got 4 jars of Peter Pan peanut butter Free plus many other things super cheap and am up to $.95 Fuelperks!

I think it is adorable! I sold another pair of earrings Wednesday, Lorie wants me to make some necklaces so I am going to work on that. I need to find somewhere to find 1/8" silk ribbons for an idea I have. I also need a tiny nylon cord to crochet.

Gina had her surgery Friday and Charli spent the night with me Saturday and we watched Gnomeo and Juliette, Les worked so we painted a wood cheerleader and played magnet paper dolls I found at Dollar General. The thing is she lost one each of the 3 boots so she is not happy about that, LOL. She was good in church going with Les to Children's Church to see puppets

I went to Hannah's Graduation cook out tonight, had to go by myself because Gina worked late and Les's gout is really bad. He got stuck by a bee on his foot yesterday and while he is usually allergic I made him take benadryl and use cordaid but he had a rough day!
Sold 2 pairs of earrings to Hollis. Also Lorie sold a pair at her shop yesterday for me!

This has been a terrific week as far as health goes! I have gotten things done and a friend, Lori Taylor is opening a store in Laurens called Dipstick tomorrow and she is going to put my earrings in it to help me sell so I can get money for Charleston! I want to make as much money with my crafts as I can so I feel I am not taking it from the house hold budget.
Yesterday we took Charli with us to AC Moore and Red Robin. When she plays hide and seek she does the thing where you say Red Robin and she saids MMMM so you know where she is!
I am really starting to work more on her learning her alphabet so I started buying the letters that make a train. We are working with P, S and C so I bought those first. This week we will paint them and each time I go to A.C. Moore I will buy another letter, next ones A, M and T, I think then N and O, maybe D. I am going by letters that start certain words so I do have a plan. ;) That will be a fun way for her to learn them!

Have been busy today and gotten a lot done, felt really great but Les is still sick!

Today I did 15 minutes on bike and 16 on treadmill. Was supposed to go take Les to dentist in Laurens but he had fever so he couldn't go.
It has been so cool today! Actually in the 60's! The weather has been up and down! Hot then cold, had over an inch of rain today, too.
I had to come back and add this... I couldn't sleep last night and had gotten up and finally went back to bed as Les was getting up. A few minutes after he left I heard a weird noise and some how something fell down the chimney and I heard animal noises and scratching for a few minutes! I told Les he may have to open up the closed off fire place if something starts smelling!

Yesterday I had a wonderful time at Trey's Aunt Rene's house at the family cook out. I had been before but this time spent more time talking to his family and getting to know a few of them. I made a few pairs of earrings and started a great book Nature Has a Remedy by Dr Bernard Jensen, I might have to find a used copy of this one!
I finished teaching the Charles Stanley book today so next I am doing a parenting book.
Les is sick and can't talk again. I have to drive with him to Clinton to his dentist tomorrow so I guess I will get to read a good bit.

This week I made myself a ring brace to help my finger stay straight, they costs $75 for a sterling one, it helps. We enjoyed going last night to see the Amazing Rhythm Aces but left before they sang Third Rate Romance to meet the kids at Migs. They were running late and it was after 6 before they got to play.
Today I changed up my therapy and started the bike for 6min then 5 min legs and 4 min arms then 15 minutes on treadmill. Since I could only do 3 minutes my first visit that is great progress! Susan said they make lung transplants do bike so it will help me get ready. Les and I went to the dietitian Wednesday and she told us some smart things. I went to the library today and got a couple of books to read up on healthy foods. I need to watch my carbs which are my favorite foods ;(

I got several plants from Gina for Mother's Day today I got my first strawberry and Charli eating it!
We had a really great cook out for Mother's Day, I hope we can do it again for Father's Day!

Today at therapy I had lost 2 lbs since Monday. I am at 142, would love to get back to 135. Both of the kids were better today, too, We got our haircut and picked the kids up at the salon and took them to visit Grandmama for a few minutes. I didn't have my camera and was low on air plus Ames was sleepy.

Today I had the worse attack I have had yet. I had gotten out of tub and was sitting cooling off before I got dresses and Les had just walked out the door to run an errand for me (which he was not happy about) and OF COURSE he grabbed the wrong set of keys and knocks on door, I then am trying to throw my clothes on when he comes to front door and then opens window to yell in. I throw my t-shirt on and by time I make it to door I have to sit on floor with my air all the way up gasping like a person having an asthma attack. I told him never to do that to me again and he tells me to shut up he didn't do it on purpose he was rushing to do what I asked him. That really made me mad. He would not leave until I was breathing normal so I didn't get what I needed. I told him when he it rushing that was the most important time to make sure you grab the right keys! I lost the battle a long time ago for ONE set of keys, he has to have 3. What is worse is I have an extra set of keys to the house and they were in the car!

I have been listening to the newsmen fill space for one hour waiting on the president to tell us Bin Laden is dead, I am glad he is dead but why couldn't they have waited and let us finish CSI! I am waiting to see if this will make a difference in Jeremy being shipped out...

Today was rough, heart rate was high at therapy and took a long time since I had to stop several times. I didn't sleep well last night. Les was off and Mom came by for awhile so that helped. Charli was running a fever so I couldn't cuddle with her.

I talked to Dr. Holman today, he is going to check on the program for lung transplants at MUSC for me.

Sitting here watching TV by myself since Les is working and I didn't have any family to go to communion with me. I am afraid Easter around my house is another day, the kids went to Trey's parents and Gina met some of his relatives she had never met before. Les and I got a plate from Rick's after church and he went on to work. Charli did go to Sunday School with us and the kids came to service.

Hollywild April 20

I got to spend some quality time yesterday with Charli playing Easter Egg Hunt and baking cookies, she said we were "Cheffers" LMBO. We plan on going to church egg hunt tomorrow.

I managed to plant my herb garden today, other than getting my air hose wrapped around the water hose and having to come in and take a bath I did OKay, I didn't have the kids since Trey is off for spring break, we are going to Hollywild tomorrow, that should be fun!

Been a busy week, I was too tired to go to therapy Friday after I kept kids, I planned on taking a nap and going but the wind kept setting my new alarm off so I couldn't rest! I made Les take it off wall and put it where I could turn it off!
This is picture of my baby sister's first Full run at the mud bog, she was so excited! She won best in her class and was so tickled I was there with her! Gina and her family came for a while, too. I must go to bed now, I am out of air and need to take meds.

It turns out Jeff had a broken hip, he didn't even remember when he fell! He will have surgery the first of the week.
I went to the DR and I must double my Prednisone 5 days and use my inhaler But my inhaler was dead so I guess I will see if I can get one Monday, it is the pollen. Again I was asked about going to Duke to get on the list for lung transplant.

I had a rough night last night with crazy dreams! I still have so much congestion in my lungs I wake up to cough it up but at 3 I woke up thinking about my brother. He is still so weak. I can't imagine having the scariest thing to happen in your life and not having the one person who loves you most with you. He spent 2 days in ICU and our baby sister stayed as much as she could, I couldn't even go with being sick and Les was working, his friends Roy and Foots were there but Mom was in Florida. We softened everything because we knew Mom would want to come home. He is supposed to lie down as much as possible and he has been pretty good but mostly he sits in his chair or on the steps. The bleeding in his brain is in the center which the Dr said was unusual, if it would have been me I would still be in the hospital but he has no insurance and is an alcoholic and heavy smoker so I guess they needed to release him ASAP. I have to say Roy and Steve are good friends! They met him in the ER and stayed with him. I don't know when he will be checked out or even IF. I have not done too good a job taken care of him since I was so sick and trying to keep the kids and Les has tried to work, take care of me, Jeff and his Mom who has pneumonia. I have to say it made me realize how much I love my brother, it has been scary, he was terrified and ready for me to call 911 with his head throbbing, he almost cried and said Why do things like this happen and brought up my lung disease.
As much as I complain about him I was glad I was with him Saturday and glad he is here today!

Jeff has fallen twice today, he fell out of the bed trying to cover up and hit his head and then his knee twisted and he fell and he just scooted toward the door. He fell 3 times yesterday so that is better! He is not as wobbly today but still is very pitiful! Les and I are wondering about leaving him alone. I had to go to therapy but Jamie stopped by and brought him lunch. She told him he was supposed to stay in bed as much as possible while he is still bleeding. I want to go to church tonight but may not, I hope tomorrow I can get our neighbor or his friend to check on him so we can go to the first Alive After 5 uptown.
My exercise times: 15 on New Step 5 arms, 4 on treadmill. Heart rate is still up on treadmill but not as much as it was.
Ames started clapping today!

Made it to exercise today made it 15 min, New Step, 4 minutes threadmill (which was not too bad because my O2 drops and heart rate jumps on this and did 8 minutes arms. She didn't make me do laps since I was recovering from being sick.
Ames had his check up and the Dr put him on antibiotics for his cough and said he was tall! In the 90%, He weighs almost 18 lbs.
Jeff is still in ICU, they were running another test to see where blood is coming from. Dr Lal feels like it was a seizure like he has had in past.

I tried to post yesterday but photos were not working right but it was a challenging day, to say the least! First the Good things, Ames was 6 months old! I caught this picture of him sitting up March 31 and his tooth cut through March 24 on bottom.
Now the other, I stayed in bed much of the day and read, too weak to do a lot, Les came home at 4:00 to find the motorcycle had fallen over and killed Tye! My furbaby would have been 10 years old in a couple of weeks! THEN my brother had a seizure or something and had to call the ambulance, he will be in the hospital another night. While Les was gone to church I heard someone in the house so I thought it was Jamie bringing Jeff home but must have been Roy getting stuff for him... no dog barking to let me know he was here made me sad. Les will work tonight so will be very quiet around here. Charli hasn't understood yet and Les feels very guilty. Came home last night and buried him at 9:30.
BUT Jeremy is home from training (his home) and he called me yesterday!

So I went to the doctor yesterday and I have strep :(, I couldn't do therapy today, I kept the kids 3 hours and we watched Freaky Friday and Madagascar. I am glad Les is off tomorrow because he is the greatest to help when I feel bad. I have coughed so much my head hurts so I am going to lay down awhile...

I really had fun at therapy! I spent 45 minutes exercising! I only had trouble on the treadmill, spent just about 3 minutes and gave out! I was pretty proud I could do it!
Les has been in a weight loss contest at work and has lost over 12 lb! I am very proud of him! He has been so careful about how much and what he ate over the last 4 weeks and said he plans to do it so he can be trimmer by his birthday!
The devil has been trying to put symptoms on me today but I have kept taking Advil, Tylenol and Zinc, I do NOT want to be sick!

I start Optimum Life tomorrow, I am really looking forward to it! My week has been OK, kept Charli last night while Gina and Trey went to Olive Garden for their anniversary (6 years) and we had a really fun time making a Pink Lemonade cake (recipe on Paula Deen's site) to take to church today, all got eaten but one piece which I put in frig for Charli. It was too tart for me, next time I will watch the lemon zest.
Nothing much else going on, worked on my cross stitch a little.

Les bought me this Christmas Cactus 6 years ago when I worked at the Money Store, it blooms around Father's Day and near Christmas and is in bloom again! I have had more luck with it than any other plant ever and to think I asked him why in the world he bought me something I had to take care of because I never had grown much. Now I have a garden and several violets and another larger cactus. I never thought I would have that part of my Nanny in me, LOL!
Gina called, Charli is vomiting and her throat looks very bad, she thought about taking her to ER but hated to try and expose her to more, she is taking her in morning to doctor.
I went to Optimum Life today, will start pulmonary exercises next week and do 3 times a week.

I dread going anywhere, had to take a nap between kids going home and going to Foodlion. Tomorrow I need to visit my Grandmother and I will have to psyche myself up to leave the house! Did not go to singing at church last Sunday night or the past Wednesday and that is very unusual! I did go last night and it was great lesson but was so ready to get home!

I can't believe it has been almost a week since I posted! I just got finished doing my pills, I hope I do not get where I can't do it, LOL, I take 14 in am and 12 in pm! I have a list so I guess I should make one in order, now a lot of them are calcium, B, D and a multi-vitamin plus an antibiotic everyday.
Les went to dentist yesterday and had 7 of his 12 cavities done! I had my Mammogram done, too.
The tank of air I got on the 7th was empty yesterday, it was a little smaller but usually a tank lasts 2 weeks instead of 1!! I find myself turned it up lately, I am having trouble right now because my tank ran out and I do not want to fill up because I want to go to bed. I have a regular tank beside my desk and am using it to finish what U want to do. I made a couple of pages today but do not have the energy to post so will do that tomorrow. Les will be off and I will only have the kids 3 hours.

I have been doing some deep thinking today. My son-in-law's father is going through so much with bladder cancer and is in so much pain. Daily she asks for prayers and he is on the list at church, I believe in prayers! My thought today is if you claim to believe it must be more than posts for others to pray for you and having a random verse generated on your profile!
I love my children with all my heart! I would do anything in my power for Gina, Jeremy not as much. That may sound cruel but when you know the circumstances is really isn't. Gina will call me to see if there is anything I need, she never sees me without hugging and kissing me hi and bye. In church she stands praying with her arms around me. Jeremy is 3000 miles away, no call on my birthday (he was training) and when he got home never said Happy belated birthday. We send Christmas yet not a card from them. I get a text once in a while I love you but usually in answer to one I sent. You know I don't love him any less than Gina, he was my first child! He just breaks my heart as a Mom, since he joined the Army I have no personal relationship with him.
I believe Christ is the same. We are taught that God is Abba, Father. To be a Child of God and earn the right to call on Him we need to have a personal relationship with him. We can't just call and say I need healing now and expect Him to heal. God allows adversity to come to wake us up from our selfish sinful lives so we have the chance to turn around.
My dear SIL comes to church once in awhile to appease Gina but his Mom and Dad have no church home. When he dies who will preach his funeral? At least he has a choice, what about those taken quickly in a wreck our like my friend Gail who passed away at 42 of a heart attack in her sleep?
When it comes to my two oldest grandbabies who are 4 days apart, when I die Charli will miss me terribly, Seth will say "I didn't know her"

Jeremy is now in Louisiana for training, I was sad he told Jeff he left Monday morning but not us (we did know he was going just not when) so I went and found me a new purse to cheer me up. I am very picky about having organised spaces but not too big. This one is just right when I wear it on my left side over my air! Of course it is my favorite color ;)
Trey spent the day with his Dad at the hospital, his tumor is causing him great pain. Ames threw up all over me and I think I want to go wash off yet again!!!

Been pretty tired this week so have not thought about posting, got a great kit to do but too zapped to be creative.

I went for my physical today, my bloodwork was great, I didn't have to have my lung tests or echo now so that made me happy! He is still talking to me about a lung transplant but I keep telling him 'no.' I do have to now double my Cellcept, that means adding 5 more pills Plus I have to take an antibiotic every day, that means I start my day with 16 pills, then 7 plus my sleep pill so 24 pills a day! (that does include my B vitamins, multi vitamins and calcium)
I have not seen Charli since Friday, so I an looking forward to seeing her and Ames!!

Make a bracelet tonight in a class at the Beaded Palm, I had never posted the earrings I made last time so here they are, too! I enjoy taking these classes!

When Ames came in with this bib on I thought that would make a great page with Cathy K's Boyish Love!, I this is is cute, LOL!

Had blood work Monday to get ready for physical next Monday.

Just checking in, it has been a busy week, here is a new picture of Ames, I really need to set up an area to get some good shots of him! Loving playing with my camera Twila gave me, Les bought me a monopod so I can be steady to get even better bird shots and got me a new solar sun ornament and birdhouse and Lots of chocolate, he does spoil me!

Been keeping busy but managed to make a page with Cathy K's new kit Boyish Love with a new picture of Seth that Jeremy posted.
I was blessed that Twila got a new camera and gave me her Canon Powershot! I will post pictures later.

Tuesday's service was great, too, glad Sheila was back! Suzan went to ER because she was pushing truck and hurt back, Kathy came to church with us, she really enjoyed it, next is going to be 'I Want for Nothing"

Getting back to your first love

Preacher West started talking about how Samson was God's man and let sin come between him and God and tells us in Judges16:20
And she said, “The Philistines are upon you, Samson!” So he awoke from his sleep, and said, “I will go out as before, at other times, and shake myself free!” But he did not know that the LORD had departed from him.
He said that was one of the saddest verses in the Bible
He then goes to Rev. 2:1 where the church of Ephesus has slowly pulled away from God talking about how first we stop going to church on Wednesdays and skipping Sundays, then we stop praying faithfully and then we find we are no longer in love with God like we were when we first were saved!

Matthew 24:12 (New King James Version)

He talks about how went we lose something we need to go back to where we were when we first lost it.

IF WE LOVE GOD WE MUST RETURN TO DOING THE THINGS THAT BRING US CLOSE TO GOD!

We must read the Word, Pray and go to Church and HEAR GOD'S WORD"
Ps23 tells us we HE RESTORETH MY SOUL

It's a gradual thing that brings us back to where we need to be, there must be a starting point!
