Our friends just left a few minutes ago and it is late so just a quicky... we had Chinese and I showed them how to make eggrolls, Wendy and Micah joined us tonight along with Tim, Leigh Ann, Kevin and Shannon, we also watched Wolverine which was fun.

I have been wanting to use the lyrics to this Nickelback song If This Were Your Last Day and this was a perfect oppurtunity. The picture was taken just a few weeks before my Dad died.

My Mom will be 69 tomorrow, my sisters, Gina and I went out tonight to O'Charley's and had a fun time, I actually only snapped a couple of pictures and they were my BIL playing with Charli putting a straw in her pigtails. I took a picture of her last year when we went to Fatz eating a lemon and I wanted to have a comparison. I gave Mama the first pair of dangle earrings I made and let her pick out a second page. I will post pictures when I am not so tired.

On AGT I was pleasantly surprised that Kevin won last night, I was kind of pulling for the Opera singer, not that I like that type of music but she was amazing! I honestly missed the last completion on Monday I figured I could see it online if I wanted too. I was not crazy about Grandma Lee, if she wasn't old she would not have gotten as far as she did.
The concert was postponed because of the chance of rain which is OK.

It's almost 9 and I have just gotten home and put my PJ's on, not even got to eat yet. I am making this super quick because I am watching America's Got Talent and grabbing a bite to eat. These are glass dessert cups from my Nanny but before that they belonged to my Aunt Doll who was my favorite aunt. The reason I decided to add this is I am going to make Garden Totems out of glass. Not these of course, but I am watching for cheap and unusual pieces to start and Les is helping me.

Today is my sister Twila's 47th birthday so I want to wish her a great one! I won't see her today so will have to try toward the week end.
After I keep Charli today I have a class I am taking, it is a jewelry making class and I am so excited! Every night this week I have something to do, Wed. church, Thursday The Swingin' Medallions are going to be Uptown at 5:30 and we are going, Friday I am taking Mom out for her birthday and Sat. we are having a get together with our friends. I don't know if I will get much scrapping done!

Good News!

OK, here are a couple of pictures from yesterday's Baptism, this is a mother and son, Karen and Dylan, she is the sister of our good friend Kevin, we had about 10 baptized this time.

I have some good news! For the last couple of months I have been praying seriously for my SIL, she always called me a Holy Roller and would make comments because I spend so much time at church, well she came over today (only 2nd time she has been here) and she has changed her attitude! She has been separated from her DH and he also has started reading the Bible and they are back together, I am so happy! I will pray she finds a church just for her, I invited her to church but I have enough family that belong to church and don't come now. She took her GED and passed all but the Math part and has lost a lot of weight. I guess it's been about a month since I saw her but she was so happy and I wasProud!

Now I can go to the next person on my list who needs to be in church...

Here's one more picture of my preacher. Les and I had Baptism at the lake tonight and I had to do my Scripture challenge stuff and enabling so I am running late and didn't get the pictures downloaded, it's almost 11 so I am going to bed. Got a meeting at 6 tomorrow so that's 3 days in a row we ate at church and I have a class Tuesday night at 6. BUSY, BUSY, LOL!
