School has been a great success this week! Charli has Miss Laura and Ames has Miss Doris. Both has a very good time, Mama and I picked them up yesterday and Charli was excited about that. She has really grown to love Mama Peggy so much because she plays with her and spoils her good!I don't know how I could do with out her and Jeff! Charli is crazy about Jeff, too, when he is gone she misses him and will sometimes go sit in his chair, he makes her laugh so much.
I think finally the medicine has started working, I have been able to cut back to using my pulse air tank some this week. Having trouble with my new tank so I guess I am going to have to send it back.

My Mom will be 69 tomorrow, my sisters, Gina and I went out tonight to O'Charley's and had a fun time, I actually only snapped a couple of pictures and they were my BIL playing with Charli putting a straw in her pigtails. I took a picture of her last year when we went to Fatz eating a lemon and I wanted to have a comparison. I gave Mama the first pair of dangle earrings I made and let her pick out a second page. I will post pictures when I am not so tired.

Today my MIL is 69 so I have picked some pictures of her with my kids and with my FIL from the reunion in June. She and I were very close when the kids were growing up, she kept Jeremy and was always closer to him than Gina, I really feel for her having to take care of my FIL and she basically has to take care of Les's sister who is going through a divorce and very needy. She is really aging fast, lost a lot of weight and you can tell in her face she is a smoker.

I was supposed to do my mission project but the gentleman was out of town so I called my Mom and we were going out to eat at the Huddle House when Gina called me and needed to go to Urgi-care because her face was worse and my sister told her it might be Mercer so Charli ate with us (she let my Mom hold her so I am Happy!) and then I took her home until Gina got done. I am glad she went because it is Mercer so she is on a stronger antibiotic and he drained it and told her to use hot compresses. Les and I are about to go pick Charli up for awhile. He can see her before he goes to work at 10:00.
While I was keeping her she poured her juice on the floor so I 'spanked' her and told her to sit and that she was in Time Out and explained we Do Not pour juice on the floor, she didn't really cry but kept saying "Meme!" over and over again. I cleaned it up and took her to get her diaper changed and ready for bed and I asked "Did Meme spank you?" she patted her bottom and said "Spank, spank" and I repeated her and she said "Juice" I think she got the message, LOL!

Kar, thanks for your concern about my cough! It is a chronic thing I have to deal with, I take Prednisone, acid reflux meds, allergy meds, Flax seed oil and my cough stuff. The air here is so hot and humid I struggle breathing and when I get hot I cough. Actually I got sick in June 1989 and in August went to work at the Pharmacy at Wal-Mart, My friends are all getting their 20 year pins now. I was there 12 years. When I went for my interview I fell out of the chair and someone had to help me up, LOL! I was hired for the pet dept. manager but was so weak I couldn't lift and I was put at the Pharmacy as OTC manager and actually got 50 cent more an hour! The disease I have is called Polymyositis and Interstitial Lung Disease After 20 years it is a part of me, just aggravating when I want to do something, Gina teases saying she could always find me in a crowd by listening for my cough, LOL! It really helped me in my job because I often talked to people about the medicines, I took some strong medicines over the years and was able to share and have more compassion than I would have if I was not sick. I honestly believe everything can have a blessing if you look for it.

Well off to get my baby to play with!

I can't wait to scrap these pictures! I got them from Gina's camera along with others I will share. I was happy that Marie came to see us yesterday after Gina cut her hair. Charli was real sweet to her, I was very happy, as much as I adore the child she is not friendly to those she doesn't know well.
Mama, Jeff and I went to Fuji Express to eat after I kept Charli. Mama and I might go on a day trip Saturday, that will be fun!

Roses for Valentines

This is one of the types of roses I had planted for Valentines. I bought 6 bushes and Les and my brother planted them. This one is Queen Elizabeth which I got because my Mom, sister and daughter are all named Elizabeth! It is planted on the side of my house so I can see it as I put up in the drive way. One of our church deacons gave me a metal bench, table and chair, it really looks great! I am proud of them and want to make a little place to sit them.
Last year I had a small herb garden. Hopefully I will get that going, too. I have the seeds sitting right in front of me. The main thing is attracting butterflies. I also bought zinnias. It should be warm enough soon to start them!
My nephew graduated from Boot camp in Ga. Wednesday and will be going to Texas now. I am proud of him and hope he does really well. He is very smart, just never stuck to anything, now at 25 he is in the Army. Jeremy had a lot to do with that.
Papa is now at home, thank goodness Les helped before he went to work!
Mama had to go back and get the place where she had her mastectomy drained for the third time, she is getting worried about that.
This week Bud taught us about how words affect our health. He showed many scriptures and it really made sense! He explained how we cause our immunity system to be weak when we make statements like "I am coming down with the Flu"
and how we often cause our own health problems. I have always seen this from family members who tend to be sick a lot. My own MIL is always sick, I always figure it is a way to get attention as is the case with many people.
I have always thought it strange that I have an Immunity suppressive disease and Les always gets the stomach viruses and bad colds! One thing I do, though has been when a virus starts going through work I start praying that I won't get it. Prayer works and I don't have to miss days out sick!

My prayers are with my Mom today as she has her surgery! I am going to take my brother to the hospital to meet her at 7:00 then go to work. I am blessed my boss is letting me leave my cell on to receive a text from Sissy when she is out. I am sure she will be OK I will go after I watch Charli this afternoon. She is having a hard time with her top teeth, they are showing just not quite through the skin yet and she is not eating much and very clingy. Her tummy is messed up, too. She didn't even eat a whole yogurt for me yesterday and she usually eats them even if she's not hungry!
Well it's time to go, I picked my new bible verse, Romans 10:17 Faith cometh by hearing, hearing by the word of God.
