Went to Funeral home so we could finally see Seth, Julie doesn't have a good way to get around and they have been busy with the funeral so it has been hard to see him. He gave me a giant hug and kiss and wanted to come to my house and play with Charli. He is so cute, just like his Daddy.

Julie called yesterday saying her grandfather passed away and they would be coming to Greenwood! I can't wait to see Seth!

This is yesterday, Les cleaned Gina's car off so she could drive to work instead of him driving her. The snow is still sticking around and I fell today, Les and I were laughing so hard it was not easy to get up, LOL! I did what he told me and instead of walking on Gina's walkway I stepped out on the lawn and still down, it wasn't painful or anything. I will just be glad when it is GONE!
I ordered the babies birthday gifts from Barnes and Noble tonight. I was afraid we couldn't make it to Greenville and I wouldn't get Seth's mailed in time. I got Charli a Pinkalicious doll and books and Seth a wooden tool set and books. Charli has memorized the Pinkalisious book! I want to record her, it is amazing because it is a book with a good amount of words and vocabulary. She also likes Fancy Nancy. Gina is getting her these books. I would have liked to find a bigger doll but they are expensive! Right now she is watching Monsters Inc Everyday, LOL! It is too old to find anything from that movie though. I might look on eBay or in Thrift stores to find a Scully toy sometime.

Gina was sick with the stomach virus yesterday and actually missed work which is rare for her. Charli rode with her Pop to come get me at work then went home to 'take care of her Mommy'
I am going to take her as I go to see Dr King about my right hand today, Les is going to take his lunch to go with us because I don't know if I will be sore or not.

I have had the worst time getting pictures of my babies together! Saturday Charli didn't go to Emerald Farms with us and it rained so much lately and today we went to feed the ducks, Charli decided she didn't want to give up the rolls to the ducks and ate them, LOL, the bread was still ok just what we had left from all the bread from the funeral.
I get off early tomorrow and we head to Atlanta, oh, I dread the drive!

Today we went to Anderson with Tim and L.A. to go to Sam's to get some things for the church and ate at Fuddrucker's then took Seth and Eli to the Goat farm, Charli was supposed to go and I was sad she didn't but that's the way it went.
Then we went to see Grandmama, I got some pictures but they are Bad, I wish Twila had been there of someone who could have got them...
Trey put my exhaust fan in, too, it will help my breathing in that small bathroom!

I told you I would post pictures of my babies and here they are! You may can tell Charli is taller than Seth, he is so much like Jeremy was!
I hope to get back to 'normal' soon. I went back to work today then kept Charli until 6:00. We were going to eat over at Gina's but Seth hurt his shoulder so we stayed home. There are 2 places Jeremy wants to eat while here, a Mexican restaurant I took him to when he was a kid and Rick's Uptown Deli which has some good southern vegetables! He loves collards, beans and cornbread all mixed together, He doesn't get that kind of cooking in Washington. The family wants to take him out to dinner before he leaves, I wish they would agree to take him to a place HE wants but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. We used to go to Rick's after church and when he came home on a leave when he joined the Army. I will make sure he gets to visit his favorite places any way.
Les spent time helping his Mom trying to see what she has and needs to do. We are upset about that situation but I won't say anything about that.

Been with family all day, got few pictures but too tired to post, I will say Seth is a cutie and loved his meme, I spent a lot of time with him. Many of our church came to the funeral home and they really brought in the food!

Here's another picture of Seth, it's cute isn't it? I had a great day at work, got my eval, too, which was super but due to salary freezes no raises this year, but the money is not the most important thing is it? I an really getting a lot done on my stocking for Charli so this is a very quick post so I can work on it, no scrapping either, I have a gorgeous new kit to work with, too!
I do have the TV set for America's Got Talent, I usually do not watch this kind of thing but am enjoying it, I am not happy about Grandma Lee getting through, though, her act is the same stuff every week and not that great.

I hope you have had a great Labor day, I have! I have done a lot on Charli's stocking and not must on the computer. The only time I got out I went to get a few groceries and wore my Carolina shirt to Chick-Fil-a to get my free sandwich, it was Good!

I love comparing pictures of Jeremy and Seth, I am glad Jeremy is coming home so I can get some good pictures! Our Preacher's wife said he reminded her of Gina but I said before Charli looks like her Uncle Jeremy but they all have a strong resemblance with the blue eyes, blonde hair and the face shape.

I am sitting watching the show I Survived as I type this, I love that program! I do have to turn around and read some so I get distracted, LOL!
Anyway I had a great day. Charli came home with me because she was so sleepy but when she got here she ate and played. Gina went out to eat with my baby sister and her family. She said it was nice to eat a meal without stress. Charli is a handful at a restaurant!
I had a wonderful time at church tonight, too, I learned something important.

This is just a very quick post this morning to share some pictures of my DGS! Julie had sent them to my gmail account and I had not checked it in awhile. Hope I will not be so busy this afternoon but car is fixed, no real news on my FIL but thegrowth in his liver is larger and he is running a fever and knee is Much better, almost normal. More VBS and a picture of Seth

Well Les got a Birthday cake and set of 'tools' from the Bible School, he seems pretty happy. His Dr visit was not a high light of the day, though, I had asked Jeremy about getting picture of Seth and Juli sent me 4, I posted one at bottom. I plan on scrapping this one beside one of Charli since she has the same toy.
Now tonight then Friday and VBS will be over, it has went fast this year, the crafts have went very smoothly!

Got some good news but I am waiting to Blog when the people that need to know first are told, LOL, I hope I can post pictures tomorrow or so!

Things went smooth at work with the new kids, one was on vacation.
Oh, I enjoyed our Women on Missions Meeting! It is going to be a 'hands on' group where we may clean an elderly member's house or cut the grass or spend some time at the soup kitchen!
I am in charge of membership and fund raising. I already have a great idea. We are going to plan a trip for next summer so we need to have money put aside. The rest of this week is busy, getting Charli when I get off and keeping here until Trey gets off after 6:30. Next week I won't keep her but have Bible School and Festival of Flowers. Doing the Garden Tours and Park Seed. I will post pictures of the topiaries soon!

How could I not be in love with this face! Tuesday I put Gina's headband on her and she grabbed her lamb and started showing out, I don't know who has who spoiled, I have been taking her picture every month near the 20th with this lamb and when she wants me to take her picture she goes to the basket, pulls it out and goes through her poses.
Tuesday and Wednesday she didn't take her morning nap so after I feed her and we play a few minutes I say "are you ready to nap?" She climbs on the sofa with me, gets comfortable and she is asleep in less than 5 minutes. I kind of hate that she takes a good hour and half nap but I do love holding her and watching her sleep! Trey has been getting home early so we haven't had as much play time.
It makes me feel good that she would rather stay in my lap than even play with her Daddy, who she adores, she starts whining when I leave some days.
One of the women at work was talking with me, when you are a parent there are so many things on you that you can't enjoy and see how wonderful your child is like you can as a grandparent. I look at Charli at 14 months and she can point out her head, hair, eyes, nose and other body parts, she can follow 2 step directions, "pick it up and give it to MeMe" and is saying two words together, "Daddy Gone" "Hi, Tye" (my dog) I am sure my kids could do these things but I was too young to know how truly special it was!
I am sure it helps that I am trained to work with kids now and know how to play so they learn more and am very laid back and enjoy her.
Jeremy sent me another link to a video he made of Seth if you want to see it, Les said it didn't look like the baby we saw 8 months ago. There is a shot of the Army Build a Bear we sent him for his birthday. I am going to try to save the pictures off the video if I can.
My brother painted our bathroom and he and I plan to put a border up after work, It is a pretty blue and looks nice.

I got up the normal time so I could look outside, Tye was on my bed which is unusual and so I decided it was not worth sleeping in, I think we open at 10:00,
Watching the news right now there is a problem on I85 and people have been stuck for hours! That's awful, a couple of trucks wrecked and some people have run out of gas and have children in the cars, and it's so cold! The weatherman on channel 7 is talking now, he got stuck about 4 hours and had to get a tow truck to get him out!
ANY WAY... I looked at Jeremy's Facebook and he had added this wonderful drawing of Alexis! But there were new pictures of him, Julie and Alexis but none of my baby! So I wrote him back asking where are picture of Seth and he added a few, here they are. I still don't have any Christmas or Birthday. Julie has a new camera so I know that's not a problem.
HE DID APOLOGIZE FOR FORGETTING MY BIRTHDAY, that's nice.
I guess I will get several pages done today, I think I will go take my bath and get dressed. My hiking shoes will come in handy today!
