I made a pair of earrings from the beads Twila gave me for Christmas, they turned out very pretty! I am giving them to a special lady at work who is 74 and has the infant room. I know she will be pleased!
Trey and Gina gave me their laptop last night, I hope I can put my PI program on it, I have only watched a DVD so far on it. We didn't have church today because of the ice so I got some things done I wanted to. Les had to work.

Got back a few minutes ago from Greenville, because of weather Fuddrucker's and A.C.Moore were closed so ate at Fatz and went to Target and H.H.Gregg. SO I didn't get my hamburger or the Hot Wheels frame I wanted and the Build a Bear and book I planned to get were put off until later, too. But Gina got her new Laptop so I got her old one.

I do not know if we can go to Greenville or not, am waiting to hear from Trey when Gina gets off. It's cold and wet and I have ice hanging from my bird feeders so I have not gotten motivated to do much yet. I have my Women's group coming Tuesday so I need to get going. Les hasn't gotten my box for my tree out of the garage yet, I did the part I do but between his back and gout he has managed to procrastinate quite awhile but I am lucky he even helps, If he didn't I wouldn't put up that big tree because I can't manage it alone.
Well off to do some laundry and clean my office.

Les and I took Charli to AT&T to get our new phones today, she was very good, never when near all the phones and stuff. She just danced and played with Merry Moose. When we got outside Les had left the car running the whole time we were in there! I was so tickled I couldn't talk! I told him he was lucky that I had taken my pocketbook in!
Then I handed Charli my old phone and she said "batteries?' because there was no picture and I took her it had batteries and she started playing and turned on the speaker and dialed 911! I told the lady I was sorry and explained what happened which make her laugh, too.
We then went to Wal-Mart which is not her favorite place But she was an angel and we got her a Pirate Brobee from YoGabbaGabba and she was a happy girl.
My tests didn't take as long as I thought they would. I had to sit in a wheelchair by the time I found a parking place at Self plus they were painting on the floor they do the Lung tests on and that really got me coughing. Thank goodness they did my Echo in a room to keep me away from the fumes which was nice. I can't hold near as much air as I did 18 months ago, I know I am a whole lot short of breath!
My Mom also went to the Dr and had a cyst removed and my MIL finally got out of the hospital.

Just a quick post before I go out the door, I had my annual meeting at work yesterday and am proud that I got the Best Classroom award! I got a $20 Wal-Mart card and a $50. Bonus check for going to the meeting. That will be great when Les and I go the Greenville Friday night or Saturday for my BD! I am so looking forward to Fuddruckers!

One of me new little girls got her finger caught in the bathroom door yesterday, she had followed a little boy who opened the door then closed it on her finger, I felt so badly! Her Daddy had to come get her because it rolled back the skin on the tip and I know it really hurt!

Well time to start my car!

I got this from my Secret sister today, it is my birthday gift. I am so looking forward to my birthday! I told Les I want bird feeders and garden gnomes to put in my yard. Lowe's has awesome feeders, the small ones I have have to be filled so often they stay empty a lot. I have always wanted some gnomes to put in my yard, too, and Big lots has already got them for the spring. After all the time I spend at Farmville I need to do my Real Yard, too!

This picture made Charli laugh! I told her it was 2 Charlis! I think it is adorable!

Today is Seth's birthday! I sent him a card but mailed it late so he may get it tomorrow or Tuesday.

My Grandmother gave me these flowers, they were almost dead then but really look Great!

I had my physical today, I have to have my mammogram on my birthday! I also have a round of tests next Thursday and have to go February 1 to talk about what we are going to do. Gina is going with me which does not make Les happy but I know she will help me make a decision and not pressure me.

Charli's 2

I took Charli a balloon today when I went to keep her, she loves them, we had a great day, she really loves her new kitchen and 'fixed' me hot chocolate and apple sauce.
Les can walk better now, I guess he will get to work Friday.

Charli's Party

Charli had her birthday party with her cousin Riley at Jumping Jax, she really had a great time! The McCall kids came which was super since they all love her so much.
We later went over to Kathie's for supper. Suzan cooked since Kat had just come home Saturday from the hospital but Les ended up getting sick, his knee is now very bad, we both didn't sleep last night so I am very thankful I got off early. (I had 2 kids)
I am going to take a nap and I guess I will take Les to Dr at 4:00 I do not know why he lets it get so bad before he will go!

I spent most of the day working on my cross stitch, but Les had to come home early and pull out his crutches and start the gout medicine, My Mom went to get the meds for him so I never got out. He had the car and I figured he would have to come home early.
His Mom came home from the hospital and we are going over after Charli's party.

Nice and warm today! Temp got in the 60's, that's good, our power bill jumped up over $100 this month and we keep our heat at 64!
Les is barely walking, even needed a cane to make it through the house tonight, his knee is pretty bad, at least his fever broke. My wrist is much better.
Another Fun day with Charli!

Charli and I had a wonderful day today! I love hearing her say Thank You over and over and she asked for what she wants to play with or eat. She was happy to see her Daddy today and he was happy to play with her!
When to Pizza Hut with Mom and Jeff tonight. Les had to come home sick, his knee is swollen and he can't walk. He had to go to the hospital late because his Mom had a reaction to medicine, I think the stress got to him.
My wrist is Much better! The knot has gone way down! I wish I had a picture before he took the cyst out!

Gina was sick with the stomach virus yesterday and actually missed work which is rare for her. Charli rode with her Pop to come get me at work then went home to 'take care of her Mommy'
I am going to take her as I go to see Dr King about my right hand today, Les is going to take his lunch to go with us because I don't know if I will be sore or not.

Les gave me this Christmas Catus in 2004, it blooms twice a year and I love it. It is the best plant I ever had luck with!
About to head to work, Les is taking me. We can't fix the truck now and he has to go see his Mom who is in the Hospital.

I decided to change my header since Christmas is over, LOL! Kit is A New Beginning by Connie Prince. My Favorite colors are the green I call "Kermit" green and this teal blue so it appealed to me right away!
I was called tonight about doing photos for a wedding in June, I pray I can do it, I am doing one in April so far, it is a great way to make $$$.

I was really inspired by this kit from Connie Prince! It has a Perfect name, too, Daily Inspiration and is on sale at GP. The top picture is the picture I have at the bottom of my Blog from last summer and the heritage page is my Great-grandmother who we called Hassie. I just Love Shabby papers!
I started out the year with 650 friends on Facebook and now have over 700, most are Digi scrappers so it is fun 'meeting' them! Many designers have Fan pages too and show new kits and stuff, I am happy just playing Farmville and checking my homepage to see what people are up to.

I am Trying to do a couple of things this year, one is take a picture a day and two is to scarp my weeks, I am not really good at this kind of thing but here goes my first shot at it.
I used Silly Snowman Gang and A perfect Date by Connie Prince. Since it has been so COLD here it was a great kit to use!

Starting next week I will be cutting down to 3 days at work and keeping Charli on Thursday and Fridays, her other Grandma will be busy with Papa Mickey so sick and getting his to chemo so for the next few months I will be spending more time with my baby. It makes me happy to be able to do this!

I will be spending more time with my baby for the next few months, Trey's Dad has cancer and will be taking Chemo so it will be hard for Debbie to keep her so I will be doing 4 days a week instead of 2! I can't think of any better way to spend my afternoons!

Peppermint kisses and poytails

Charli came to my house today so she had to get in my Peppermint Kisses stash, we both love them! Isn't this ponytail adorable? It reminds me so much of Gina when she was 2!
My day at work was some better, I found out the next move up is Feb. 1 which is Great!

It has been a terribly long day since I went from work to Charli's then to WOM and I got home a few minutes after 9 but I wanted to share Charli feeding Merry Moose, the Build a Bear we made her for Christmas. She and I spent over 30 minutes playing kitchen. She is getting a kitchen set for her birthday but her Aunt Brooke got her this wonderful tea set with metal dishes and real utensils. It was the high point of my day.

I finished cross stitching Charli's stocking except for the name. I said I wasn't going to do that much work again so I am going to do a smaller one for Seth. I have most of the colors already but hope I can get the others when Hancock has a sale, LOL!
Mason and Lauren went up today and "Z" and Brady came up to my class. "Z" is a handful! She kept trying to go out the door.

Isn't it funny how kids can watch and imitate adults? A couple at church sent this oven to Charli and she can 'cook' now. She is using a hat because she says it is Hot! Her second birthday is in 2 weeks, I am getting exciting!

I did this for the Scripture Challenge at SBE using Boyhood Tales by Rina Kroes. It is a picture I took of Jeremy and Seth at Emerald Farms here in Greenwood while they were home for the funeral.

Today Gina and Trey put in my MIL's floor in the den and we all ate leftovers from yesterday. Charli was especially good while they worked on it. She was playing with a stethoscope in the toys and kept saying 'stethoscope' over and over, she repeats most of what she hears and and has a great vocabulary!

I signed up for the 365 group on FB, I don't know if I can take a picture everyday but I will try.

Les had to work today so we had to eat our New Year's Dinner at my MIL's when he had a lunch break, it was nice to be with the family for collards and black-eyed peas.
Last year I made a resolution to do better on Blogging and I did pretty well, just lost the desire to post every day. I ended the year feeling a little poorly, I cough so much I have a sore rib and my knee is swelling and I have to keep taking advil. I also have a cyst in my right wrist which I will see the Dr about Jan. 13. I have a physical on the 21st so I will talk to him about an inhaler or something. I also have not been scrapping much since my FIL died in October, my heart is just not in it lately.
I got several kits this weekend and plan on doing some though. I need to do some for Charli's second birthday.
I really do not have any resolutions this year, I just want to feel more like myself again.

I am not staying up to see the New Year. I have coughed until my rib hurts and my knee is still swollen so I am going to climb in my warm bed after I take some Advil. I hope everyone else does more exciting things.

This is my Favorite gift this Christmas! When Charli comes to the house now she points and says Volkswagen! Les gave it to me and it is made of metal, very cool!
I went to the dentist yesterday and got my broken tooth fixed. He said it was now 25% tooth and 75% filling but it works well and he is a great dentist and didn't hurt! Gina got her retainer yesterday, too.

Charli's new bed, this is what Santa brought her. She loved the ball pit best, LOL!

Charli really enjoyed Christmas! She keeps singing Jingle bells and saying "Here comes Santa Claus!" I got tickled at her putting on the Santa suit for her Build a Bear Moose we got her! She spend this afternoon with us and we drove to '96' to see the lights and then rode through Connie Max. We also stopped by to see Les's Mom awhile. She fell the other day and hurt her knee and mouth really bad. She was on a step stool trying to get things down she wanted to give on Christmas that were Papa's. She gave Charli a keyboard which Gina used to play with. I know Charli will enjoy it. She has lots of musical toys and plays with them all the time.

This Christams was sad without Papa and very sad because we stopped having Christmas Eve at Grandmama's but what Fun to be with Charli. She is saying so much!

Cathy K had a wonderfully cute Christmas Kit on sale at SBE called Happy Jolly Days. I couldn't help but scrap a picture from last year and this year! I need to do so more pages for Charli's book!
I am proud to say I got my MIL's calendar done yesterday!
Les and I are finally going to Greenville this afternoon! The starter and the alternator on my car are both fixed to off to Build a Bear and the craft stores!

Sandra at Joyful Expressions emailed me and I wanted to share her site with you. I am SO CLOSE to finishing Charli's stocking but my hand keeps cramping and I told Gina I just can't manage it. I bought the fabric but I guess I will have to finish it for Christmas next year. I really shouldn't do such time consuming cross stitches, LOL!
