I have had the worst time getting pictures of my babies together! Saturday Charli didn't go to Emerald Farms with us and it rained so much lately and today we went to feed the ducks, Charli decided she didn't want to give up the rolls to the ducks and ate them, LOL, the bread was still ok just what we had left from all the bread from the funeral.
I get off early tomorrow and we head to Atlanta, oh, I dread the drive!

We ate supper with the kids, looks like Les and I are going to have to take them to Atlanta as soon as I get off Thursday, not looking forward to the drive. Les has an infection in his back and will be miserable!

Today we went to Anderson with Tim and L.A. to go to Sam's to get some things for the church and ate at Fuddrucker's then took Seth and Eli to the Goat farm, Charli was supposed to go and I was sad she didn't but that's the way it went.
Then we went to see Grandmama, I got some pictures but they are Bad, I wish Twila had been there of someone who could have got them...
Trey put my exhaust fan in, too, it will help my breathing in that small bathroom!

I said I wouldn't do Farmville because I have such an addictive personality but there I did it anyway! I am waiting for my crops to grow!!

My Grandkids

I told you I would post pictures of my babies and here they are! You may can tell Charli is taller than Seth, he is so much like Jeremy was!
I hope to get back to 'normal' soon. I went back to work today then kept Charli until 6:00. We were going to eat over at Gina's but Seth hurt his shoulder so we stayed home. There are 2 places Jeremy wants to eat while here, a Mexican restaurant I took him to when he was a kid and Rick's Uptown Deli which has some good southern vegetables! He loves collards, beans and cornbread all mixed together, He doesn't get that kind of cooking in Washington. The family wants to take him out to dinner before he leaves, I wish they would agree to take him to a place HE wants but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. We used to go to Rick's after church and when he came home on a leave when he joined the Army. I will make sure he gets to visit his favorite places any way.
Les spent time helping his Mom trying to see what she has and needs to do. We are upset about that situation but I won't say anything about that.

Just got in and am too tired to post anything but this one picture I caught of Les and Jeremy after funeral...

Been with family all day, got few pictures but too tired to post, I will say Seth is a cutie and loved his meme, I spent a lot of time with him. Many of our church came to the funeral home and they really brought in the food!

Update

Gina and Trey went to Atlanta and got Jeremy's family and they got in at 3:00 this AM. They were all tired but it was cute when they put their stuff in the spare room (her Daddy's office) Charli said "NO!" and crossed her little arms, she is not allowed to play in there and thought they shouldn't be there either, LOL! She took right to Alexis and let Seth play in her car and tried to get him to play blocks with her.
She, Les and I had all taken a long nap so when they got home she was feeling good, Les has not gotten much sleep in days. The bad thing is after I ate I got so sick! I started with my stomach at Gina's and when we got home slept a few minutes and got up and Les was in bathroom and I got sick all in the hall! He cleaned it up for me, he has always been good about that kind of thing. I am starting to feel better now, didn't want to take my meds and throw them up but I think I can go take a cool bath and take them now.

Papa's Gone

Les got the call a few minutes ago, his Dad is dead. Jeremy is coming in tonight and Gina is going to get him. I am just praying Les's sister will behave....

A waiting game

Here is Charli tonight at Kindermusic with the bells. While I was there I was playing phone tag with Jeremy, I still have not talked to him but Les said he is coming home, I don't expect he will see his Papa, the Dr does not think he will make it through the night, Les has be there all day and will probably stay if he can until the end. I am hoping "J" can bring Seth but I don't know if that is possible or not. Les's Mom put a DNR so an IV is the only thing he has now. The biopsy came up cancer and Les said it is bad. Now we are waiting...

It has been a lazy rainy day, I ran out of coffee so I drank hot chocolate this morning, I wasn't as good. Charli took a good long nap and then we played blocks.
My FIL has now had 2 close calls, it is looking like liver cancer, Les was off and stayed with his Mom part of the day. Preacher Bud stopped by, we both are too worn out to go to church tonight.

Charli made me feel good today, she played the drums for me. I really need to get a recorder so I will have sound but I still enjoy recording and posting so I will have it. She also played her little piano toy and sang for me.
Les had to get off work and go to the hospital, his Mom was crying and said the Dr said his time is running out. I know we have been through this over and over and somehow George comes through but I don't know how he can hang on much longer, I will let you know.
Time to go get my potato soup Gina sent home with me, I Love potato soup!

I am finally getting back to normal! Didn't go to my women's meeting because it's cool and rainy and didn't want to get out in it, though. My FIL is back in the hospital with fluid around his liver and multiple other ailments, I will not be going to see him at least for a few days! Les made a pot of soup and it was pretty good!

I did scrap a little... These are made with Connie Prince's new kit Now and Forever, The top is Charli and my grand dog, Tye and the other is Les in Kindermusic with Charli Thursday. I did sell a pair of my Halloween earrings today which was nice.

Here is Jeremy getting his Sargent promotion I sure wish I could have seen him!

I really mixed Charli up today because I didn't go to church! Gina says she was saying "Meme!"
so cute! Last Sunday Gina was rinsing her hair when she got water in Charli's eye, she screamed "Mommy, Daddy, Meme, Help me!"
I watched Casino Royalle and am now watching Hostage, I don't spend a lot of time watching movies but enjoyed the James Bond movie a lot.
I did get laundry done and some other neatening up so the day wasn't wasted, I did miss church though, I think this was the 2nd or 3rd Sunday Morning I have missed all year.

I slept a lot again today and coughed a good bit but starting to feel some better, still not quite well but still taking my antibiotics. The best thing is I didn't have to talk because Les was at work, BUT Jeremy called to tell me he made Sargent. I had seen the pictures on Facebook so knew. It was nice to hear from him. Seth has been going to Daycare a little, that is one of the benefits so Jeremy can spend time with Julie... the Army pays for it for a month.
I worked on this necklace for a long time, I am not real happy with it and may rework it a third time, the beads and colors are great it just doesn't hang right.

Thhis is what Easton's Mom, Tonya made for our Friday theme party today! Isn't it adorable? I do feel bad that it was my new assistant's last day and he had cried and woke them all up so they didn't get the last hour of nap, I am sure she was ready to get out of there! Gloria is going to be my 'new' new assistant and I know her, she did her training in my class last year. On days like this I think I need a new job! Because of the infection I have had this week I really am struggling to catch my breath!Here are some of the earrings I made this week. Have not done any the last couple of days and have not scrapped in several, just not feeling creative. Took a 3 hour nap when I got home, am so tired..... Gina just called and could barely talk to her.

Music, Music, Music!

When I was in elementary school The Swingin' Medallions bus would be parked at a house right beside my school. In 1966 when I was 6 they did a song Double Shot of my Baby's Love was the 57th best song of the years. They are from Greenwood yet I had never heard them, the concerts are usually $25 a ticket. Well finally I got to see them tonight after Charli's Kindermusic class!
I took the video on my camera which means no music but it is done to the song Shotgun which is sample 4 on the link above. John McElrath here is the only original member of the band and he is having a spin off with Josh Boatright, I have to say John does pretty well on stage and playing upside down!
Les went with me to take Charli, I am still only about 80% well but really wanting to see the group. I wish I had taken Charli, there were hundred's of people there and many kids right up front dancing!

Just wanted to post the necklace I made for a lady at work, she loved it.
Left work early but I still kept Charli, Trey worked late so I just got home, I think I am going to drink some hot tea, take my med and go to bed.

As it gets closer to Halloween it is a great time to remember my grandparents and how candy was one way they spoiled us as kids. These are 2 of my favorites my Granddaddy Bo would bring me, PayDays were thicker then, and I still eat the peanuts first and then the caramel.
I still feel bad and can't talk, slept almost all day and haven't done anything, I need to do some Halloween earrings but am getting very low on orange beads and larger black ones.
I plan on going to work tomorrow, Please pray I get my voice back!

A couple from church made us some chili for dinner, Les goes in at 5:30 so he can eat before he goes.

Well Gina finally joined Facebook, LOL! Her is a picture see put on there, Charli and her pink shoes! After a week without the computer I still want to get other things done and not be on here too much. I am fighting a chest cold and can barely talk, trying to get tomorrow off, have not slept more than a couple of hours at a time in a few days. Of coursr Les can't talk either, he gets laryngitis several times a year though.
Today I sold 4 pairs of earrings and 3 sets to Kristi at church. I had a great time yard saling yesterday and got Many pieces of glass for my totems I plan on doing, most were a dime.

She had a good time playing with the dinosaur after class, he is interactive and 'eats' and 'sleeps' and 'talks', so cute!

Well since I am 'back' I thought I would do a few challenges and the first is Kat's Challenge to Blog about a topic she picked, Jon and Kate plus 8. First I think that anyone going that public in their marriage needs to realize the marriage probably won't last with all the 'trash news' printing lies and every move being scrutinized, it is not fair to the kids, either, I can't imagine the teasing at school they would get! I have never watched the show, I don't like Drama so shows like this do not appeal to me. I am glad they dropped him, even the shows last night reported he was looking at a new house in Beverly Hills, go figure. I just pray the poor children can make it through with every one knowing about their intimate lives like that! I wonder does she even teach them about Faith and Prayer to make it through...

I'm Back! I finally got my internet back, I went to Kindermusic with Charli last night, got some cute pictures and I will share them later, I took this video of her on my camera. Next time I will lighten it up. Notice she disappears to get her paci, LOL! She is dancing to the music in TV. She did wonderful, the teacher was amazed that she could jump so well at 20 months but she has done that for about 2 months. Most children are closer to 2 years before they can jump that well!
I have sold several jewelry pieces including 3 necklaces (one is prepaid and I have not made yet) and 4 pairs of earrings. I have orders, too. I have a lot of catching up to do so will talk later.

I am not used to a laptop, I saved yesterday's post as a draft instead of publishing, LOL! At least I am going a little faster and not having to backspace as much! Charli and I are watching Olivia and she is doing a little 'seat dance'. I sold a necklace I designed today to match Miss Juanita's earrings from last week, I will post a picture when I get things back to normal, I am getting more jewelry done, at least! Sold a pair of earings at church and got an order for a necklace in red and black for Carolyn, too. Kristi wants to look Sunday and get some Christmas gifts.
Dakota is going up this week and I got Parker and will be getting Carver too, I had Carver's brother and love that family! Parker did great today and I tink his is ging to be a wonderful child.
I am loving how much Charli is talking, I keep telling Gina to video her doing her dancing and stuff, she is going to start Music class and guess who gets to take her?

Today is Gina's Birthday! I am sorry I can't post any new pictures I hope to get my computer back by Friday. I am at Gina's house now so she can go get a pedicure, Charli is taking a nap beside me.

I have made several jewelry pieces but keep thinking I need to look up something and remember I can't, LOL! I do miss the internet! Will check in tomorrow since I will be here.

I am on Gina's laptop since I did lose my internet, hope to get back soon! I had a class this morning and got my hair cut, am at Gina's and am going to keep Charli so they can go out for her birthday. Will check in later.

This is Charli's 20 month picture, she is singing the ABC song for me and though she doesn't have all the letters down she has the tune and she sways her hips as she sings it.
I am running late this morning, I didn't sleep much and got up about 6:25 so I will post the pictures of her 'fixing' her car later. She is saying "I lub you" and getting easier to get kisses from which I adore. She even gave Tim a real kiss instead of turning her head for him to kiss her Sunday; that's what she does for non family members.
Dakota stubbed her toe yesterday at work on her chair at lunch, poor thing I sat her on the sink so I could wash off the blood and she was screaming. I was so glad her Nana could come in and help get it covered with a band aid and calm her down!

OK here are the first two pairs of earrings I made in my class. I have gotten better at making them now. I gave my Grandmother the coral ones and Mom the purple dangles. I have also sold 2 pairs at work and as soon as I get more wire have an order foe a necklace.
The new NCIS came on last night, I am glad Ziva is back!
Only had 3 kids until lunch when the 4th came in, Lauren and mason have colds. Mason should be back today.
I so enjoyed talking to Charli yesterday, I would say 'Did you play with Sierra Sunday?" and she would say "Yes" I am trying to teach her to say yes Ma'am. Once she said Yes then next question just said Ma'am.
She slept most of the time though, I am going earlier today.

Well I am still online today, I sold a second pair of earrings and started making a charm bracelet, got a lot of ideas for new things, too. Les is off today but I will be keeping Charli so we won't get anything done. I am trying to get my shelves up for the glass I am collecting to make my Garden Totems I am planning. I am taking a break from 2 of the CT teams I am on, I am on 4 so that will help get more done on my crafts.

Just in case I am MIA for awhile I may lose my internet, with this summer's high power bills and I have car insurance due by Friday I may have to give this 'luxury' up. Les is taking on some car repairs but the rain is stopping that right now and sales are not so great at work and they will shorten his hours. My part time job helps some but I don't want to give up keeping Charli to switch plus I don't think I could hold up working much more. I am making crafts that I can to sell but you all know you have to put money into that for supplies. Besides Gina has helped me over and over again.
Please don't think I an griping or anything, life has moments for all of us I just want you to know so you will pray for Les and I, we are supposed to have a woman buy our old car but Les needs to repair something and we need $75 for that, she put a deposit down many months ago and we hadn't heard from her until a couple weeks ago.
I may get to check in on Gina's computer but probably no pictures. I thank you all for taking the time to read this and for your prayers!

I still have another picture I plan to scrap with this kit. I sure wish I had more photos of Jeremy's scout days, I would be doing more with Campfire Stories

I have Charli since Gina has a class today and so we are about to go visit my Grandmother. She does not like me on the computer, LOL!
