Heat is ridiculous, yesterday GSP had the highest ever temp on record at 107! Over 100 storms on record with hail. Debbie posted pictures of her yard. It wasn't too bad here.

Went to 96 with the kids and got there just before fireworks started, no crowds or traffic :) It has been record setting heat!

Been busy with VBS this week. Got letter from Duke & call, I have to do several heart tests and couple other thinks and send results to know if I can relocate. These are the most invasive tests so I really need to have good results. VBS had been really easy this year and the kids are learning.

Poor Les, his Mom was so worried about gets her pills she forgot his Birthday! He wasn't supposed to go over until tomorrow but as usual she was short and he had to go before we went to eat with Gina and the babies, we went to the Chinese place we usually go. Charli made him a card and that made him happy ;)
He hurt his back at Duke and it is very sore.

Got back about about 4 yesterday then went to IHop with kids, Charli loved her green skirt and put it on to go to dinner. They aren't very encouraging at Duke saying right now I can't survive a surgery. Dr Lin asked if I would consider moving up to do the 5 days of therapy so I could build my muscles and get stronger without the promise of a transplant. It is up to how I can build up

Twila gave me $110 after the craft sale today,some was donated by Cody and Jamie but the most was from her sales, Sherrie Stauffer also sent $25 on Paypal so I have topped the $20000 mark my first month! I think that is awesome!

Trey walked in today and gave me $$ and I just put it on table thinking he had paid me for keeping kids but it was $500! he raised it on his own by raffling a gun! I am so proud! I also got a $100 check from Carol Bush today! I am amazed at god's goodness in getting this money! It is so close to $2000 now I know it will be over that in a week!
I sure will miss kids this next week!
I pray Twila will do well, I sure want to get rid of some earrings!

Had a nice time at Crackerbarrel with Twila and Keith, it was nice to sit and talk, they paid for dinner which was really nice then Keith slipped Les money! I could cry at how wonderful my family has been! That well pushed over the $1000 to $1250! I had FB friends tell me they are sending a check, too.
I went to Office max and got a cheap Photo editing program but should have bought the $40 Print Artist!!! When will I learn?

Les did something to break his toe last night, it is all purple and swollen, that's all he needs to add to his gout with all the walking he will have to do next week! Charli is learning to write Meme Pop, Gina and of course her name :) She is bringing me home notes

Allen and Denise sent us $250! Along with the $500 from Danny & Cathy and the $200 from Grandmama's Sunday School class we are $50 away from our first $1000 or 10% of total needed! God is Good!

Nice quiet day, yesterday we rented We Bought a Zoo and ate from Zaxby's that was nice and movie was good.

Charli was happy to craft today coloring and making paper skirts for Barbie! Time passed fast and we didn't even watch videos.

Weight down to 123 dressed but did TM of 17min. Poor Les had to spend his two days off taking me to doctor, exercise and going to hospital and keeping kids! He took the babies to get an icecream while I worked out ;)
He is having more foot pain and can't get doctor to see him.

Had bone density and TB test done, had tetanus shot in Nov. 2010 so didn't have to do that :D. Kathie was admitted early this morning and will probably be there until Saturday.
Kieth Wideman was cremated today and they just had simple family service in Honea Path
Also it would have been Daddy's birthday so he was on my mind

Went by after 6 to take Kathie her bank statement and she was laying down and Nicole was gone so he left in mailbox, we left and 5 min later she called so we turned around and he had to call ambulance. She is on 2 antibiotic IVs, morphine and phenagan still do not know if they will keep her. Julie was mad I posted of Fb instead of calling her but I didn't see a need to call when at that time I knew nothing, it was embarrassing to me to see her fuss in front of my friends but I do expect that type of thing. All I could say was ambulance came took her because she had fever and hurt, that is her life now. Someone took most of her pills again, she had 4 left to last until the 11th when they can be filled. So sad. Jeremy doesn't want to hear that or that my niece lost Kathie's debit card because he feels I am prejudice against them and always putting them down but truth is truth.

The kids went to Greenville zoo today. I didn't go to church, I thought I have stomach virus but only went twice so was OK

Today it was just Ames and I, Trey thought he would have to work all day so Charli went to work with Mommy and saw a lot of family members ;) I turned my monitor off and he was Mad! He wants to watch 2 videos but I wanted him to play, he played with Charli's Barbies. Les knee still hurting, Says he will go back to Dr. Seems to be back to normal with virus.

Alexis turned 17 today. She is a beautiful young girl.
Les came home sick with stomach virus. He is just finishing up Prednisone for knee.

Ames pushes my sweaters out of my chair, climbs in and yells Roar wanting to see Dino Fun video! He knows how I work my Wacom pen and tries his best to copy me!
A young man was shot and killed in front of the house we lived in on Singletree left in the ditch! I pray his killer will be found!

Duke sent me fundraising letter.

Les having cook out at work for Memorial Day so I passed on exercise so i didn't have to get out 3 times to take and pick him up and go there. Just being lazy.

Kept Ames while Les went with Gina and Charli to see Men in Black III and then went to see Grandmama and ate at Sante Fe. Grandmama's Sunday School class is giving me $200 for my Fundraiser.

Ames sat in my lap well over an hour today watching videos! He is getting better every week! We watched a dinosaur video over and over and Charli laughed so hard!! Tomorrow I keep them from 8 until 1, I need to go to bed early, LOL!

I really enjoyed the kids today. Ames is getting better about playing and siting in my lap. He really loves Les! When Les got home Charli and I started watching 80 music videos from movies, she liked that. Ames came with Les's hat on crazy and started dancing to Foot Loose. I will be glad when we can start taking him to Uptown events!

Charli brought me a letter when she came over today.

Got my last Hep shot today, thank goodness she didn't hurt like last nurse! I made it through exercise but had to rest a couple of times.

Charli spent the night last night and we had a blast together! She wanted to have a Party so we got cupcakes and sang and had a pillow fight. She was more playful and talkative than I have ever seen her! She likes to do Sandy Cheeks impressions and I love to hear her talk. She still calls yellow, Lellow and changes letters in many words which is so cute.
Les' knee swollen bad, can barely walk.

Nothing much going on but they called from Duke and scheduled a test where I will have to be sedated and they put a tube in my throat, they also are doing a heart cath Thursday... not looking forward to it!

For good news I got a check from my Uncle Danny and Aunt Cathy for $500. to start our fundraising! My jaw dropped! I have to send them a card ASAP!
So far I have 4 days to stay at Duke this time! I have CT scans, heart cath and ultrasounds scheduled.

I am now working on 15th dish towel, I hope Michael's puts the Sugar and Cream yarn on sale soon, I have enough for several more but would like some more solid colors.
I increased TM to 16 minutes, I hope to have 20 soon but it is hard. Mask makes me feel like I am suffocating.

Gina came by brought me a great T-shirt, cute card and $$ and Ames was feeling bad, made my day better, though, Charli took my roses home with her, LOL! MIL's house smells like smoke, yuck!

Feeling blue today, Gina didn't come to church and it is raining, haven't heard from Jeremy in weeks and they didn't have a Mother of the Year at church! Sitting here watching the rain feeling sad and dreading that I Have to go to my MIL's!

Went to IHop, My Mom and her sister and 2 of her brothers took Grandmama out to eat. It was nice.

They called from Duke to let me know they were setting up next set of appointments for June 18th so I guess I still have a chance and need to start raising money, we used everything saved up on last two trips and gas is now $3.35 here and is much higher there, but that is down from before.
Went to see N'Tranze uptown, Charli ate her peanuts and laid in my lap relaxing.
Les still coughing but fixed bad brake, will do other side next week.

Gina took me to therapy and Nell and Cliff took us to church. Was raining and Les still sick.
Got shocking new that Kerry no longer works for Ballentine!

Les was too sick today and slept, he said he is going to try to work but I don't know if he will be able to. Gina is going to take me to therapy because the back brake show has messed up and Les is unable to fix but thinks he can drive to work, it sounds awful! Charli and I ate Birthday Cake ice cream and she told me it wasn't anyone's birthday so we sang Happy Birthday to her and I gave her a pretend gift, we laughed. She makes me laugh and so does Ames.

Been busy today! Got Hep B second shot before therapy (Made 30 exercise minutes) then had to take Les to Dr with upper respiratory infection and had to go to dentist to get wisdom tooth filled. Guess we have to go get his meds and something to eat soon. I lost 3 more lbs to weigh under 125 now...
Still no word from Duke but have seen most tests results online through the site.

Kept kids today while Trey worked extra hours, I am working on 10th dishcloth since I started! Charli likes to watch me crochet them. Felt pretty good today but Les has cold for last 3 days.

I started exercising with mask on and that helps last longer on treadmill, it is not a great thing to wear but works for high liters of O2 I need, using 15 to walk. Several of my tests are back and seem to be OK, especially the one I was concerned about
Ames is saying many words now and bringing diaper when he is wet. Gina sent me video of him on potty, so funny!

Charli had a cute little show at school tonight where she wore a US flag so Gina got her these cut boots to wear. She did a really good job! I have been very busy today, therapy, dentist and there, have to go back to dentist because I have a cavity in left bottom wisdom tooth, Yuck! He said it is because I have had this dry mouth that it popped up so fast.

Found these pictures of the furnished apartments Les and I stopped by called The Hamptons, I sure would Love to live here! The kitchen is small but but has a garden tub in but baths and a screened porch. They even provide linens! Have washer and dryer, too!!
Ames is now calling me Meme and giving kisses!

Home from North Carolina! Took about same actual time to do interstate and rack roads because we made fewer stops and did a quick lunch instead. The Barium Swallow was not near as bad as last time, Elaine was my nurse and several of the people remembered us!
Was a little worried after talking to doctor but after test not so much. Found a wonderful place I would love to live! It is beautiful and 2 bedrooms, dining room and screened in porch. They blew my vein out doing the kidney test and it looks terrible! I also have one from blood gas and small one from blood draw. Laurie did my breathing test and said diffusion down 45% which is Not good.
Cora had an adventure, too, we dropped her at my MIL's before we left and a few minutes later the ADT man opened door and let her out! She has a chip and they found her so we picked up as we got home.

Felt better than I have in awhile so I worked on my dishtowels ans finished several pairs of earrings to sell!
I have a knot on my knee and couldn't exercise, though. Les got off Predinisone the weekend and woke up with swollen hand Sunday, doctor told him to take more.

Rainy day, getting ready to go Tuesday to NC, I hope gas doesn't cost too much!

It always makes me do a double take when things change, I like the way posts were before, don't know why they have to change! Decided to make dishclothes at Duke, made one tonight and turned out good. Nice and portable and will make good gifts! Ate at China Garden, love the cheesy shrimp!

Went to Kevin and Shannons and played games and ate hot dogs.

It was chilly at concert (Men of Distinction) and since Charli sat in my lap whole time we left early and stopped by mall and then ate with kids at IHop which was enjoyable.

Went to Cracker Barrel and ate potato soup before church.

Nothing big today, just a little cleaning and Rachel brought me the necklace I won and picked out for Gina, I hope she likes it, it's bigger than I thought it would be.

Ten on TM and 15 on bike. Les fell getting in tub and hurt hip and elbow. Had to work on waterpump pulley because 2 of the 3 screws were gone and belt kelp slipping off.

Ames went to doctor for his 18mo check out yesterday. he is in top 75% tall but 30% weight, he weighs under 25 lbs! He is cutting molars and very ill, he fight me today at nap!Better after sleep and played well. Took photos of Charli taking my order with her chef's hat on. will load later.

Got out and ran a few errands including mailing Lynn's pendant which cost $1.95 Did not go to therapy, should be better by Wednesday!

Went to church and enjoyed it, then to get groceries, can home and took a deep nap, that's the crux of my day, LOL!

Just spend the day being lazy and catching up on TV I have recorded.

Went and got hair cut and to Chinese with kids, feel Much better! Ames and I took 2 naps, LOL and held Miss Charli a lot! She loves 'party sauces" (cocktail wieners) I fixed her at lunch and then I got her to eat crab which she really liked!

Tonight I feel a little better, I am sorry Les goes back to work tomorrow! I really needed him. He has to have more tests done tomorrow, white count up and uric acid very high.

Still very sick! Don't even feel like sitting up ay computer, Les has tendinitis in his foot and high uric acid

Ended up having a rough night so went to see doctor and got antibiotic, Gina drove me thankfully! It was great to be with kids for even the few minutes!

I feel so bad today, just allergies and low pressure, Charli spent the night last night and that was fun.
Uncle Calvin passed away on their 50th anniversary yesterday and tomorrow is Gina's 7th! Today Jeff is 44.

Storm just came up quickly and blew over, maybe it helped the mud for the MudBog Jamie it doing tonight. Les was supposed to be off but ended up working about 5 hours, Ames took a very long nap while Les took Charli to his Mom's house. I am coughing with the kids still, having trouble shaking it. Uncle Calvin in hospital still, poor Bootsie needs rest!

Got to therapy but blood pressure was too low and heart was over 130 BPM so could not stay.

I had to push myself at therapy to get the totals I got Monday but I did it. Gina had to take Charli to doctor and get Amoxacillian for her, too, she has that rattly cough,too. I can't stop coughing either and me left elbow is swollen and has a fever, Nothing is on TV so I may go to bed.

Waiting on the kids to come, Les went to take Mema her pills and will paint tshirts with Charli when he gets back, she slept until 9 so didn't go to school today, she is looking forward to coming today!

Les still is sick from meds and called Dr because he is not getting better. Actually getting worse.

Did some gardening today, cleaned out the spot I put zinnias every year, today is the last day of winter and it is gorgeous outside! I did 14, and 15 at therapy today, my heart rate was up which it is when I drive.
Les and I when to Kathie's Saturday, she has rearranges her den so she can use the wheelchair, she has gotten where she used it all the time, she's not really even trying...

Beautiful day, Les is sick taking the gout meds and so we didn't go to church since he had to work and wanted to rest up and then he went in at 2 instead of 2:30! I have done dishes and walked around house so far, I may make some jewelry this afternoon....

Trey came and cut grass this morning and I played with the kids and we had a good time, did a few things around the house and am waiting for Les to go eat Japanese. Feel pretty good.
Had a nice time at Pizza Hut for Cody's 17th birthday, last night, Les had to work so Mom picked me up.

I have had a sinus head ache most of the week, it was worse today but did 13 minutes and 14 minutes today plus did a little around the house, not much but some which is something... I did take a picture of my blooming Christmas Cactus but didn't feel like uploading.

Today Les got me an MP3 player so I won't be so bored with on the treadmill and can listen to my music. Did 12 and 12, must increase tomorrow...

Had a nice time at Mommy Tea with the kids, heard a testimony from Linda Tullis who is married to Jerry and she sang a song she wrote. The adopted 3 girls and have custody of her niece, real sweet story. Les didn't have to go to work until 5 so he and Charli got to play!javascript:void(0)

Les FINALLY went to Dr. Todd, he has a physical in 2 weeks, he possibly has RA or it might be the gout again but doubled the Indocin for now. I was a little low on exercise today, was too tired to do more than 8 minutes treadmill. I am still losing weight, down to 128 lb. Susan said I was using too many calories to breathe. I ate more this week end than I have in a long time, too, plus walked more than usual.
I saw on the news a soldier from Fort Lewis shot 16 Afghanistan people including children and he burnt the babies bodies! I am so saddened by this and am glad Jeremy is home on leave enjoying a spa vacation!

Had good day at church, wore my shirt Chris made me that says My Favorite people call me "MeMe" Gina seemed to like it and Charli did, LOL!

I had the best day I have had in awhile! Les and I got up early and went to Greenville where I found hte wire I needed for projects and I ate a Fuddburger and got the kids some Sponge bob and Princess socks from Target. Tonight we ate with the kids at Pizza inn, Charli really likes it there. I held out really well, am ready for bed early, though ;)

Yesterday I did 11 threadmill and 11 bike, today I added another minute to bike. I had left my earrings and made $62 leaving them there! I also finally got them back from Sissy and had $50 from selling them! That is a great addition to my Duke fund!

Got my new air tank today, Gary brought it to me this afternoon! Les's hand still very swollen and Charli is very stuffy and feels badly. Could be allergies, so much in bloom, even my Christmas cactus!

Just got in from therapy, 6 minutes threadmill and 9 on bike, that was enough today, will go back Wednesday.

I am just now getting finished getting dressed and moving around... I actually found a pair of jeans that fit me since I dropped below 130 lbs. I don't like wearing a belt and being baggy. These sleeping pills are going to take a lot of getting used to!

Since my Droid would only keep a charge about 24 hours I went back to ATT and swapped phones! I am much happier with a regular phone, a GREEN phone, then Les and I went to Drive in to see Ghost Rider and Acts of Valor, that was fun!

Today I went to get back in Pulmonary Therapy, I will be going M,W and Thurs. The kids went with us and were very good

Les took me out to eat at our favorite Chinese restaurant tonight, although it made me tired I really enjoyed it! Tomorrow I start Pulmonary therapy after we get kids. Turning in early, starting new sleeping pill so want to turn in early. Poor Les's foot is still very swollen and he can barely walk, I wish he would go to podiatrist!

Talked to Doctor Holman today but forgot to get script for cholesterol, will have to call back tomorrow. The tank of oxygen Sammy brought me was too low, he told me it should pressurize and be OK tomorrow, for the first time since I got home I used my portable today. Mama came over and played with kids awhile so I could talk to doctor.hea

Finishing up the Daytona 500 race hoping Matt Keneth will pull is off! Very exciting because Danica Patrick and Trevor Bayne were taken out for a while in 2nd lap and big fire when Montoya hit safety trucks and had huge fire! AND YES my Man won!!!

My free version of DIP ran out and they disabled the shadow tool so I can't use it to make pages any more which is a bummer, took my a long time to use my Xara program to make this page using a new kit coming out this week called Spring Is In the Air and I can't get it to save properly so I couldn't print if I wanted to!
Any way still didn't leave the house I told Les that I think I am physically not able to because I know I can't turn my air up high enough! We are going to call Lincare tomorrow and see what we can find out.

Still feeling lazy today, found a show on Netflix called Lie to Me and watched on the laptop Les got me from Adam, Nothing on TV tonight so think I may take a bath and go to bed and watch some more.

Pretty good day, kids were fun, Charli made me laugh so hard I had a cough attack, LOL! Forgot to say I weighed 134 at Duke fully dressed.

Talked to Sandra from Duke today, she sent medicine to help esophagus heal and I will go back in 6 to 8 weeks with Mama so she can be added as my care giver. I will have to have my kidneys checked and see financial people this time and have that awful barium swallow again, :p

Well I am starting to feel alive again, LOL! I have been trying to learn this smart phone but am beginning to wonder if I am going to like it! Still can't eat a lot at a time, Les got me some things to eat like grapes and jello.
I missed a call from Duke today so will call tomorrow.

Still sleeping alot, I did eat a little and meds are starting to kick in.

Doctor sent me medicine today, I have basically stayed in bed with congestion and I am nauseous because I don't have taste for anything. Got new phone today, it is cool. I got things straight with Jeremy, he had made me mad but we talked it through, Les always wants peace and says "you shouldn't tell him that!" but Gina is like me, if he says something that hurts my feelings I am going to tell him so!
