Dear Santa

Working on calendars for church, I have 12 to do, this one is Tommy's, he has a toy drive and right now has over 2000 toys in a warehouse to help kids in need, I thought it would be very nice to give him Christmas all year! These are top page, bottom has calendar. I used Cathy K's wonderful Dear Santa to do these as the fun colors are fun for all year!

I made $70 at our Craft Show today, I had really hoped to do much better and raise more money for church, I don't know how much yet as I had that in a donation box and didn't open it. The fellowship was great though and I enjoyed spending time with my friends!
Bad weather is heading this way, the cold is so hard for me to breathe but we are having a memorial service for Papa Hurst tomorrow.

I have to speak at church December 26 on the subject "What did you give Jesus for Christmas?" I have a couple of ideas floating in my head and will share but what would you say?

I have so got to spend some time at home and get stuff done!! Today I kept the kids all day then ate at Gina's (Les cooked) so it was 8:00 when we got home! I have the beads to finish the last few things before the craft show Saturday! I keep them here tomorrow, I ran out of air today but Les brought my back up. I still can't do any crafting while they are here, I spend most time holding Ames and Charli has to be paid attention to. She says, "I'm talking to you, Meme!"
I still have a dozen calendars to make!

Thirty years ago Les and I had a small wedding, today we went to Greenville and made a Bumble for Charli and Puppy for Seth. Then we spent time at Harbor Freight, A.C. Moore and ate Chinese at Ni Hao. It was nice, we always have a great time just going by ourselves.

I am behind in putting pictures to my computer, will have to edit, I guess.
took Gina and the kids with us to Connie Maxwell Christmas Lights, Charli really loved the horse and buggy ride! This is her 3rd year but Gina had never ridden before. Tomorrow Les is taking his Mom and I am going with the kids to Hollywild. We have a group going, should be fun!

Another GREAT Blog!

Les can talk today BUT gout in hand and it is swollen. Had so much fun playing with kids today, Charli is so funny! She sings Crazy on You by Heart, now WHO could have taught her that song?

Les had to go to the doctor today, he has a sinus infection and inflamed vocal cords. It was also my chemo day, one more and I will be done! I had to call the insurance company to see if they would approve Cellcept, the next drug I have to take, If I get it at the pharmacy I will have to pay $150 a month but I can get 90 days for $55 mail order, that's not a hard decision, LOL!

Our friend Ronny Holder passes away around noon yesterday. How sad to lose a loved one on a holiday! Since Dad died on Father's Day it hasn't been the same, I can only imagine Thanksgiving! Charli loved him, he drove the train at Emerald Farms and would ask her, "you ready to ride the train?"
I will post pictures from yesterday later, my MIL is coming to get me so I can get my bloodwork done and we are going to Hancock. I slept until 9:00, this is the first time in over 20 years I did no Black Friday shopping. I finally decided to use the cart at Wal-Mart because my oxygen drops so no crowds for me!

We have had several people in church with problems... we lost Papa Hearst, Ronny who drives the train at Emerald Farms had a stroke Sunday and is now at Hospice, I picked this picture of Charli riding the train, she likes Mr Ronny!
Then Carolynn's Mom Florence is in hospital with double pneumonia. I am sure this is going to be a rough Thanksgiving for them all but I pray they will get through by using their faith!

Had fun putting up my tree with Charli yesterday! We also make candy pretzels and she made candle canes with chenille stems and beads. We also took her to see a couple of Christmas lights and when she got home Trey and Gina had her yard all decorated! She ws so excited! It was a perfect day!

Charli wore her Princess dress when she came over today, I love her imagination!
I have 9 crafters so far for my Craft Show! I need to count the tables at church and see if I can add 1 more or not. That really is good since I got it approved last night! There will be FUDGE, gift baskets, hair bows, jewelry, lighted wine bottles and bricks, birdhouses, painted gourds and items and my heating pads. We are also having baked goods. I also am getting an ad free on the radio thanks to Les who knows the guy!

Had an enjoyable time with my Angels today! Charli played with her Ply dough over and hour! She kept saying we were making a 'craft' She also told me that we were a PAMPIRE, she love vampires and says Drac-U-A leaving out the 'L'. That replaces the Pirates from the summer, LOL!
She is also in love with James from Big Time Rush.

Goodness it's chilly today! It has been so unseasonably warm then today it's cool. Les is heating me some soup from the freezer and that should help. I am about to go to the Dr. for my check up and xrays in a few minutes. Starting tomorrow will be keeping the kids again ;D because Gina is starting back to working 5 days

Lately every time I go to Gina's Charli says, "did you see my Pumpkin, Meme?" I assure her I have so I thought I would post a picture :D
This year I have started watching USC football and really enjoying it! They are #1 in the SEC and last night they crushed Florida 36 to 14. I was babysitting and since Les doesn't watch I went in Gina's room and Ames ate and slept and Charli cuddled up beside me (She says go, GameCOPS) It was nice, Les played hide and seek with her and turned on ICarly but she is Meme's girl!

Charli went to see the play Dracula with her Mommy, Uncle Ty and Taylor and so today she wanted to draw the picture from the program. She likes to watch scary things just like her Mommy, she calls them silly scary.
She was very good today while I kept them, Ames gave me some nice pictures, smiling.
We took her to see The Men of Distinction uptown. They were very good playing a mix of music from shag to Sinatra. Charli loved it all and had a fun time playing with a little boy.

Susan Terry gave me this machine and I am so thrilled about it! I will really be happy to learn to use the embroidery part! I might even learn to like sewing with this!

Today was so beautiful we went to the Shoals to let Charli feed the ducks, she had a terrific time! I love to picnic there, we used to go when the kids wee young.
Also we ate supper with then and Charli sang me songs she made up about roses, pumpkins and monsters, she is so funny and has a great imagination!

This is my 650th post! Had a fun day today, Les & I ate lunch with Kathie, Janette Knight, Gina and the kids. We also rekeyed Kathie's house. I started a scarf with some gorgeous yarn I got at Hancock and will be done with it tomorrow.

I ended up selling 5 sets of my heating pad/covers, 1 taggie blanket and several earrings for a total of $155 sales so that's not too bad! I am going to do more shows in the next weeks hopefully with my sisters. I have warned people what heating pads I don't sell will be Christmas gifts, LOL!

Went with the kids to see Megamind and Red, at the Drive-in, had a ball, Charli sat with us until she got sleepy, she spend some time putting change in speaker cover, I told Les we would have punished our kids but thought it was funny with her! She stopped when I asked her too and tried to get it out but said her fingers were too fat, LOL! She also spilled M&Ms on floor but Les will just have to vaccuum! <3>

My MIL helped me at my booth today (she is sitting) she sold 2 scarves, I did better with 3 heating pad sets, 1 jewelry set and 5 pairs of earrings. Several didn't sell anything so I did pretty well. I pray we will have lots more luck tomorrow!

Charli wanted to come to my house but I stayed almost all day there, I told her I would see her tomorrow. She is so imaginative! When I kept her yesterday she said the boys from Big Time Rush, Carlos and James, she told them to sit beside us and she 'cooked' them a meal. She then said she wanted to marry James and when I did the 'Here comes the bride' music she started to prance around, she really makes me so happy! I think she likes them over Justin =0)

I will post my little Cheeseburger when I upload her but here is Ames in his Hot Dog outfit. They were very cute, Charli enjoyed the games at church then they went trick or treating in they neighborhood.

Today I had my treatment, now Les and I are about to go to Susu's apartment, she gave me a wonderful sewing machine that has a quilting and embroidery feature, I am so excited! I also got a knitting machine from her. I may have awhile before I play with that.

Had a nice time at the beach, couldn't do a lot of walking, though.It was humid and the air was too thick for me to breathe so I got so tired! I could not even walk up the beach.

Thursday we took Charli to the Pumpkin Patch at a local church and when I got back all I could do is lay on the couch.

Kept Ames Friday morning for the first time and Les took Charli with him. I have to admit I held him the Whole time!

Thank goodness by yesterday I felt more myself and worked on several taggie blankets and today I have made lots of earrings. Craft show is next Friday and Saturday and we are hoping to do a couple more.

We made over $1800. with our yard sale! We were very busy most of the time, the most expensive think we had was $35 for a PS2 and Guitar Hero Gina donated! Didn't have much furniture or big ticket items, either, sold a lot of coats and children's clothes. We are going to pack up and do it again we decided.

I leave Monday to go to beach for a couple of days. Just nice for Les and I to go, don't plan to do anything but walk the beach and eat shrimp!

Been very busy today! Charli spent the night last night and we were Supposed to go to Pumpkin Patch BUT it was raining this morning! It wasn't called for and I couldn't believe it! We took her to the McDonald's Playground and to he Dollar Tree and she got a light up sword to "kill monsters' a bat cat headband and vampire gum dispenser, we will go next Thursday to the Pumpkin Patch.

Then we went over to the church and helped price the stuff for the yard sale Friday and Saturday. It took several of us close to 4 hours but we had a fun time.

Cathy Krenek has 3 beautiful kits in SBE's U Build It so I made a couple of pages playing with it. I love the picture of Les holding Ames. I haven't scrapped much lately since I am making my crafts for the November show but these were fun to do. I have got several calendars to do for Church. I am doing them as a fundraiser for church to help the building fund. Tomorrow I have to go price things for next week's yard sale. I have been very busy lately, LOL!

Ames first concert! Tonight we went to Alive After Five to hear The Fabulous Expressions. Charli wore her dancing skirt and shoes and Ames slept through the music, LOL!

I have been busy making crafts for the show coming up in November. It is still hot here, 86 was the temp today which tied the record according to the news. . Ames is doing good, gained 5 oz from Wednesday to Friday. He is a good quiet baby so far.

This is one of the few times he opened his eye(s)! While getting a bath... They were getting ready to go home as I was going for my treatment. Gina said he slept pretty well, so far he doesn't cry much. I pray that will be true since Charli can't stand to hear it.

Ames is here!

Ames made it into the world last night at 11:44 weighing 6.5 lb. Although Gina had been in a lot of pain before the actual pushing part lasted just a very few minutes. He is a perfect little fellow! Charli can't Stand to hear him cry! She spent the night with Les and I last night but she is staying with her Mommy tonight. My treatment is tomorrow!

It has FINALLY started cooling off! A week ago it was in the 90's and it is still higher than average and we are finally getting a little rain. The grass has been so dry!
Made 3 pieces for the craft fair today. Looked up ideas all day yesterday, I am making baby items like taggy blankets and bibs. What I don't sell can be given as gifts instead of stored I plan to do some Christmas ornaments, too.

I do feel good this week... chemo is Monday.

Gina, Charli and I went to Capri's yesterday for her 24th birthday. That's where she loved to go as a child. Today they rode to Greenville with Les and I and I got fabric to start making things for a Christmas Craft show. Charli showed me how she helped her Mommy wash Ames' bottles, she loves these Pampered Chef gloves Jane gave Gina, LOL!

Gina went to hospital last night but she is still not dilated enough even though her pains were 5 min apart. I went to get my blood work today and he gave me some cream for my foot. He also asked me about a lung transplant, I (getting on the list) I told him No. There is a lot more than just being on a list including months in an out of state hospital and not being around my grands. Quality over Quantity is my motto!

Have not uploaded pictures from Mom's party Sunday or even been on the computer a whole lot. I am reading a Liz Curtis book and looking forward to seeing Charli in the morning. Gina is on maternity leave after tomorrow, should be holding my grandson soon!

Charli dancing uptown Thursday when The Swinging Medallions played. Will post more pictures later. Had a good day, went to Emerald baptist to see Kathie get baptized tonight, she is in the puppet ministry and choir, I am very proud of her.
